In Short – The Phantasy complex is broken up into the Nite Club, the Theatre, and the Chamber, with the Symposium next door. The Nite Club lobby mural might have a black-and-white painting of the early Beatles, but there's barely any pop rock here save a rare Guided By Voices show. Long running goth night the Chamber goes on and on with '80s DJs. House of Blues brings bigger name acts, mostly jam bands,…
Great place Wed. for good rare 80's dance music/ local bands on Fri/Sat/Sun

I love the Phantasy for it's Wednesdays. When you walk in there is a pirate ship, which is always tempting to swing from. They play popular and rare 80's dance music. The dance floor actually has room to dance. The pour a good drink for a fair price. On the weekends they have local bands. It is next to The Chamber and Blue Moon (a head shop), which is usually open late on weekends.
A Cleveland music foundation

There has been no other club in Cleveland that has survived the 70's, 80's, 90's, and today with the same owner and with the same continued support of the local music scene. Growing bands that have went the next level had started at the Phantasy. One example is Nine Inch Nails.
- Pros: supports local music!, been around forever, decent area
