Best so far in Cleveland. Excellent salsa. Good guacamole dip. Authentic. Much more than the traditional, bland mexican in most cities.

Who's Mexican. After 3 months of rolling around Mexico I developed a respect for thedifferent regions cuisines. When the fun was over I came back to Cleveland hoping to be able to relive some of my culinary experiences. Friends told me Luchita's would "blow me away... They were right! You haven't had real, lousy Mexican food till you've eaten here. Staff was S L O W ! ! ! Beer was warm. Margarita was watery, Food took forever and was missing any resembelence of flavor. Regional style of Mexico? No place I was, thats for sure. Save the pesos and eat elsewhere.

The best in Cleveland. There is a reason that Luchita's is consistently rated the best Mexican Restaurant in the city. There is a reason that you always have to wait for a seat in the evening and even sometimes at lunch. This is simply the best in the city. The salsa is unmatched - try the chipolte chicken or chile relanos (forgive my spelling please). I have NEVER had anything but a GREAT meal at this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and vist; this is still the best of it's kind in the city.

Authentic but lack-luster. Well, take it from a texan, Luchitas is authentic Mexican food..notice the distinction here...Mexican, not Tex-Mex. The food is appropriately prpared and selections are inventive. The restaurant is between shabby chic and just plain shabby. Service is friendly and attentive. If you're looking for enchiladas with chile con carne and/or fajitas this is not the place...if you want a friendly atmosphere with authentic dishes from mexico...eureka!

You have got to be kiding!!!. knowing I'm from Arizona a co worker told me I have to try this place. Well I'll tell you the same thing I told him "This place sucks". After waiting 10 minutes in a empty resturant, We were finally seated. My room temp beer came a blistering 10 minutes later as well. The food we orderd may have been authentic becuse I believe thay went to Mexico to get it !!!! 45 min or so! But after the first bite I could tell this was not the real deal. Save your $13.50 and go get a #3 at the Bell because it's the samething. Only the Bell has more flavor and you can eat it the same day as you orderd it....

like no other service around. besides the food being wonderful and the drinks out of this world, Luchita's has the best service around. If you go to any other restaurant you know you wait awhile for a server to show up and they take forever with everything. At Luchita's everything is prompt and quick. Customers at Luchita's are almost getting spoilled and don't even think twice about it!!!Luchita's is numero uno!!!

Big disappointment in Luchita's. After reading great reviews about this Luchita's, I decided to take my mother there for her birthday. We sat down and placed our order at 5:20. At 6:30, we were still waiting for our food. I inquired and the waitress (offering no apology) said our food would be right up. After another ten minutes, I walked up to the manager and explained the situation. With no apology, he said that the kitchen had lost our order and he would check on it (he then just walked away form me!) Our food was served soon after and our waitress acted as if it was perfectly normal for patrons to wait over an hour for their food. Needless to say, although the food was delicious, our disappointment in customer service left something to be desired.
