M.J.'s sits inconspicuously among pizza parlors, thrift stores and other watering holes; what makes this particular bar different is that many of its customers happen to be gay. M.J.'s has made the most of its small space with a few intimate tables and a tiny stage in the back to beckon your attention away from the televisions above the bar. With the lights turned low and the jukebox's dance music turned up, it's easy to see how this establishment gets a such a big draw.

The Vibe
Based on the friendly, easy demeanor of its patrons and bartenders, you could easily confuse M.J.'s with any other Cleveland neighborhood bar. What suggests that it's not quite like the rest are the photos of scantily clad men on the walls, and the attractive bartender you're thinking may be in drag.

The Drinks
There's local flavor on tap in the form of Western Reserve beers, as well as the more popular American brews. Cocktail specials are offered during the bar's busy happy hour, Monday through Saturday from 4pm to 8pm.
