Heaven for fans of the felt who love a pint with their pool cues..
The Scene
A sea of 25 pool tables greet those who stick their heads in Jillian's as they travel the West Bank boardwalk. The well-maintained club resembles a gentleman's stick palace, with sturdy wooden pool-table side chairs and impressive felts.
The Draw
The table prices are a Flats-inflated $8 to $12 per hour, but the regulars of all ages couldn't care less. For eight-ball amateurs, the club plays sports on the big screen and offers a menu of decent pub fare. The east end of the bar opens up to the river, where you can hang outside watching the "talent" walk and the boats dock. And FYI, if you lose a "beer game," it's two bucks to buy the victor a domestic draft.
