It's a show, not a bar. This is a bar built around a "Dueling Piano" musical/sing-a-long type venue. Cover charge is high. This is the kind of place you sit down, order from the waiter, and watch the show. No dancing. No ambiance. It's good if you like the comedy club scene. The show is funny. However, the show repeats itself nightly. It's a one shot deal. Ya see the show once, ya seen it all.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!. Howl at the Moon Cleveland is TERRIBLE!!! Don’t waste your time. They run out of beer other than Smirnoff Ice and Mike’s Hard Lemonade at 12:30. The piano player’s are subpar, and the bartendars are sloooooow and rude. Take your party elsewhere!!!

Weekend nights of rollicking piano parties with dueling hosts delivering high-energy humor and rowdy sing-alongs..
The Scene
Like its Improv neighbor in the Powerhouse, Howl at the Moon has that well-orchestrated "chain" feeling--the kind that draws suburban party groups like Nike on Mike. Kudos to the Moon, though; they do it very well. It's an attitude-free crowd whose ages range from 21 to 80, although many probably remember the release of "Piano Man." The sing-along piano club club feels like a big "Cheers" beer hall, with a good-looking wooden bar and brass fixtures. Tuesday is open mic, and with 50-cent beers, it's open mouth too. The cover stays low, and you can actually bring in some food. Like Zydeco music and a generous slot machine, it's hard to not have a good time at the Moon.
You've Been Warned
Remember to arrive between 6pm and 7pm on the weekend if you want a seat--they're in high demand, as anyone who swears by this place is dragging in out-of-towners like they've found the Ark.
