Talented group working hard for laughs. Went to see Dada after other plans fell through and were surprised by the talent level. It isn't high on Cleveland's radar but should be. Despite a small audience, the group performed with high energy, bringing laughs every minute.

The venue is bare bones with the comedians actually working the door, but for $10 a ticket, it's a steal.

Be aware: The web site says that they try to stay PG-13. Although the skits were fairly tame, the language sometimes was very adult.

Overall, Cleveland should support this talented group who is clearly doing this for the love of it.

Loose cannons get wild in the Warehouse District. The Scene
Something Dada, Cabaret Dada's Cleveland-based comedy troupe, improvises scenes before their audiences' eyes. With the help of a musical accompanist, Something Dada presents furiously paced, in-your-face skits based entirely on audience suggestion.

The Show
The five-to-eight cast members include experienced stage and screen performers, stand-up comics and college theater teachers. Every Dada show is different, and you'll never know what you'll get: Cinderella rapping, Elizabeth Taylor dating Chewbacca, or Quentin Tarantino and William Shakespeare debating the finer points of theater. With an eclectic collection of improvisational structures, songs, theatrical tricks and audience interaction, Something Dada presents an outrageous extravaganza that is fast, flexible and frightningly funny.

FUNNY STUFF. It's great to see Dada continue to survive and grow. What a great time, everyone I've eber gone with has had a great time and always come back for more.

Good Improv in Cleveland. I've seen a lot of Improv around the country and Cleveland's Cabaret Dada is as good as any... the worst being some poor sods in Atlanta... but that had more to do with bad direction... anyway, I have seen two shows and enjoyed both thoroughly. They are a fun group and show you a good time. It is always a new show and always thrilling.
