Let's just say as bowling venues go, this one's got a hell of a lobby. Cantius is one of several historic Tremont churches known for their breathtaking qualities. (St. John's nighttime lighting is dazzling.) Not so awe-inspiring are the lanes, which are roughly 40 years old.

In the Fast Lane
Want to party at the parish? It's $175 to rent the lanes for either a weekday or weekend event (including shoes and balls for the gang.) Those preferring a quiet night of prayers and spares can attend daily 4pm mass before rolling some frames.
