Very disappointing

We did get seated right away but thats where the service stopped. Everything that was cooked came to the table luke warm and had little to no taste. If it did have taste, it wasnt good. The service was poor and we paid way too much based on the quality and service. We got the grilled salmon and filet menon . We would have be better off going to Fridays or McDonalds. The only good thing was the view.

You've Got To Try This Place

During an extremely busy Labor Day weekend, our party found Hornblower's Barge & Grill to be the highlight of our day. In spite of the fact that there was an airshow being held on the Cleveland waterfront, we were seated promptly; having the foresight to make a reservation certainly paid off in this case!

The special of the day was grouper, served with an apple cream sauce and accented with almonds. The dish was wonderfully tasty and extremely fresh.

The shrimp tempura was perfect. Served with rice and a sweet/spicy dipping sauce. The sauteed veggies made a perfect accompaniment.

The service was wonderful! Our waitress greeted us with a smiling face, in spite of the crowds present from the air show.

Fantastic Dinner, Great Atmosphere

Just tried Hornblower's for the first time and can't wait to go back. Everything was perfect, and all four of us loved what we ordered. I recommend reservations and a table by the window.
