Chinese Confusion. Embarrassing this is considered the best Chinese food in Cleveland. I went during lunch around 1:00. We were seated right away with our glasses of waters. Good start. Never gave us any napkins. I had to flag someone down in the middle of my meal to get napkins. The meal - I ordered the Szechwan meal. I asked if I could substitute the white rice for some other rice. All they had was fried rice which was $1.50 more. which was fine. The won ton came out which were good. An egg roll came out for my friend who wanted it with the meal. Okay, whatever. In anticipation of this greatest chinese meal it was below normal. The Szechwan had only a touch of spicy. The vegetables were so overcooked, the shrimp was not good. The fried rice looked like they just took the steamed rice and dumped and stirred something in it. This was actually the worst chinese food I ever had. Afterwards, I was informed that sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. Guess we were there during a bad time.

Best Chinese Food in Cleveland. Bo Loong has the best Chinese food in Cleveland indeed, no doubt it's an award winning restaurant! I live in Cleveland, but I travel around the world for business occasionally, I've eaten all over the world. Bo Loong gourmet is very authentic, very healthy, fresh and delicious. I am a health conscious person, I am very finicky in terms of what to put in my month. I love Bo Loong's Dim Sum, especially Har Gow, Shiu My and Beef Ball. I could tell all these goodies are made from scratches. You can tell from every bite - naturally fresh flavored. Not many restaurants serve Dim Sum, if they do, frozen Dim Sum are usually served. My favorite items during dinner at Bo Loong are Jumbo Walnut Shrimp with Chef's Dressing and King's Fried Rice. I am a seafood lover, Bo Loong offers many seafood items, some of them are not on the menu because of the seasonal availability. I usually asked the servers for recommendations, and I could order whatever cooking style I prefer. I ordered seafood Fondue once awhile. It's fun. Bo Loong is a Gourmet Heaven!

Phenominal!. Be careful, after eating here you will compare every Chinese restaurant to this one. My co-workers and i go at least twice a month and have NEVER had a bad meal. They offer a Dim Sum cart for lunch with very reasonable prices however i am stuck on the same three dishes. The Mandarin Beef (#12) which is one of my favorites is a tad spicy but can only be described as "Off the hook!". My wife either gets the Empress Chicken or her absolute favorite WorSue Chicken which she claims is the best in Cleveland. Their menu hosts only one vegetarian dish which one of our friends gets and i swear i hear purring every time he eats it. They have been rated in the top 100 Chinese restaurant in the country and i definitely see why. The atmosphere could use a little freshening up but you don't even notice it after you get your food.

They feature Karaoke in the evening which is supposed to be the best place for karaoke in Cleveland. My wife and i keep saying we are going to go but never do. Many people we have talked to that have gone have raved about it. The restaurant is adorned with fish tanks which is rather creepy but definitely sparks conversation. This is also a great distraction for kids.

It's insanely cheap for lunch (8.00 / person including tip) and very reasonable for dinner. Ignore the reviews from the mall Chinese food lovers and look no further. For Chinese food in Cleveland, this is the best.

Great Find for a Business Traveler. What a great place for a dinner! The menu is extensive, listing six or seven pages of options. As a first-timer to the restaurant, I asked the waitstaff for their recommendations. We ended up with potstickers, lobster in black bean with egg, pea pod leaves with broccoli, and E fun noodles.

The potstickers were not the best I've ever had, but they were quite good, and far better than most. The dumplings were thick, substantial, and the filling generous, if a bit mild.

After the potstickers, the waiter brought out a small plate he "wanted us to taste". There were four jumbo shrimp and a bit of broccoli. The shrimp were breaded and fried to perfection, with a sweet sauce studded with candied walnuts. Sweet, too rich to eat much of (due to the walnuts), but a fantastic taste. The broccoli was steamed perfectly, still a bit crisp. This dish was complementary, and a very nice touch.

The lobster was an excellent dish. The lobster was pulled from a tank in the restaurant, and was served to us about twenty minutes later. The lobster was served in the shell, cut up, nicely sauced with a golden sauce dappled with egg and black beans. It was rich, succulent, delicious. The only detriment was it was a bit difficult to get all of the meat from the various bits of shell.

The e fun noodles were even better. I highly recommend this dish. They are extremely long noodles in a savory sauce. I would have preferred a bit of chicken or seafood to further accentuate the flavor, and I will make that adjustment to my order next time.

The pea pod leaves were a new dish for us, and something we would order again. Oddly enough, the leaves taste a bit like peas. Order this as a different vegetable dish.

We were too full for dessert, and could of easily fed two people from our leftovers. The portions are large; service great!

Most Over-Rated Chinese, but you'll check it out anyway for some reason.... This is a relatively authentic Chinese restaurant and as a result the food will not taste good to people who are used to Americanized Chinese food. We tried two meals, an appetizer, and soup. Everything was subpar and we could not stomach the meals. They had a very unappealing consistency and an general "fishy" smell and aftertaste, even on noodles. Basically, know what you are getting into if you go here.

The restaurant itself is very ugly inside and has some filthy aquariums, some of which do not appear to work. There was an old man in the corner cutting green beans and coughing/sneezing on the food. The staff was huddled in the corner and was not attentive or helpful. If you like "normal" Chinese food, try China Sea on W 6th or Playhouse Square.
