this is the best Asian restaurant.
The Korean Food.
Since, I am 45 years old and have diabetes I have to focus on a health food which is probably main concern in my generation.
I wanna eat not only health food but also delicious food
but this is hard to find the food that is safisfied in both ways however the answer is simply Korean food.
Basically, Korean food is associated with Pan Chan which is a lot of different kind of side dishes. Korea house is serving 8kinds of Pan Chan so basically you order any meal then 8 kind of fresh and yummy side dishes are automatically comming it is absolutely no charging. this is so special part this is so yummy that sometimes I request to have some more of it then they just serve this without any problem.
Main dishes what I like is probably best food in this town is Kalbi which is Korean style beef stake rib
this is so tender like butter I was asking the server that how do they make this fabulous stake the server said that they put more than 15 kind of Spices and galic grounded onion and 2 more kind of fluit and there are a lot of work to do make it tender.
this is absolutely delicious
I like the spicy pork and dolsot bibimbab (google it this is one of the popular korean food)
I tried several soups (I forgot the name but mostly spicy)
that was exotic taste it was definately good try.
the only problem I have is I cant stop to go eat
I would recommand to everybody wanna try exotic health and amazingly delicious food
Avoid on Lunch Time. I was there yesterday with a friend who invite me for the first time. She was there before in an apparently non busy day. It was lunch time and it was CAOTIC. There was only one person attending all the tables (more than 10) and the registrer. I didn't enjoy the food that much, but my main concern was that despite the fact that we where there first. The waitres got the meals first to other Korean people who came after us. It was a shame. I don't recomend the restaurant for the service provide. The food well, it was my first time trying Korean, let say that it didn't impress me.
So so Korean food. I have eaten here several times. The service is on again off again, sometimes quite good and sometimes not so good. The dishes that you prepare on a grill yourself are good. The soups are medicore, especially the Yu Ke Jang (Hot pepper soup) and the Kimchee Jige. The side dishes (Banchon) also get mixed reviews. Sometimes minimal effort is made to prepare the Kimchees and they are very lightly seasoned with the cheapest of chili pepper powders and too rushed to be good. It is ironic that the chili pepper powder used there is so cheap considering that Korea House shares the building with a decent Korean grocery. I confess to being spoiled since I was married to a Korean American for 31 years. She knew how to make really good Kimchee and I learned so much about it from her. Seoul Hotpot -- around the corner on Payne -- has much, much better Korean food, better service and better prices.
