This has been a great dry cleaning place for me, its where I take my dry cleaning to all the time and have never had any issues. In case something was not cleaned properly the first time, they gladly took it back and made it priority to re-clean it. Definitely recommend the place!
TERRIBLE! I decided to try this place because it's conveniently located by my apartment. DO NOT GO HERE. I never use caps and I'm that disgusted with them. I took a couple suits and some dresses to get cleaned. All of them had stains all over them when I got them back. I took one dress back to show them how dirty it was and to have it recleaned. They did not apologize. I decided to look through the rest of my clothes that I had not taken out of the plastic from the cleaners yet. They all had dirt, dust, and stains- some of which was there before, some was NOT. I took one of the dirtiest dresses back to them to show them how bad it was and as I was looking it over and pointing out the stains with the old woman who works the front counter, I discovered a jagged cut in the fabric. She stated that she remembered taking these clothes from me when I dropped them off, and that there had not been a hole. I was astonished and asked what the procedure was. She said she would have to talk to her manager. I told her I would call the next day (today). I called and spoke with someone who immediately put me on hold once I mentioned I was calling about the dress with a hole in it. Then an EXTREMELY RUDE individual who identified himself as "John Henry" came on the line and quickly rattled off the cell number of the manager he told me to call. I asked him to hold on and he said, and I quote, "No, YOU hold on." Excuse me? I told the manager, "Anthony," about this when I called him. He did not apologize for the employee's rudeness. Nor did he apologize for what happened or the terrible experience I have had there since trying them for the first time last week. He told me I had to come back in and pick up a claim form (why the woman who works the counter could not give me a form I have no idea) so that they could submit this to their insurance company. He then explained that there is a "sliding scale" depending upon how long I have owned the dress and that for anything valued at more than $35 I would need a receipt. I pointed out that I have had the dress for 10 months and do not have a receipt for it, but that it is still for sale at the store and that store's website lists it at the price I told him. He tried to tell me that the sliding scale for the dress was fair because apparently a dress is like a car, and once you drive it off the lot its value goes down. Oh really? My perfectly good dress that I took in to get cleaned, NOT fixed, was ruined by their ineptitude and for that I deserve less money than it will take to replace it? Hellooooo small claims court. I fear that is the only way to get this dress replaced. For those of you who would like to spare themselves a GIANT headache, steer clear of this place.
best tailor in town. awesome experience and found a tailor who can work miracles. Very personable and judging by his workload, many people must know his high quality work. Thank you, Avon, for the excellent workmanship in getting our wedding party fitted properly and looking their best.
Never again. took some items in for dry cleaning and minor repairs. The tailor did and AWFUL repairing my garment and the staff was flat out rude. Acted as if customers were a huge burden to them. I will NEVER use them again for anything. You all have been warned.
We used them for only 2 months and had the wrong items delivered, missing shirts, blouse damaged, and stapled inventory tags left holes in shirts. Gave up and chalked up our losses to find another cleaner:
out one shirt, damaged blouse, and 1/2 dozen items now with holes. Owner refused to replace items. Worst experience ever. And fortunately for AVON, it would cost a customer more to file suit. However, we are pursuing this route due to principle.
five stars? the best. This has to be the best dry cleaners in town, no ever! and i have been everywhere. I'm a model and have higher demands for fast service, and i have yet to complain. The staff is nice and the understand and meet all of my needs. definitley worth an award.
