The Scene
Catering to the area's corporate clientele, Cork & Beans deal in the two most heavenly liquids: wine and coffee. Inside this 750-square-foot, table-strewn shop, over 1,200
labels of wine are sold at state-minimum prices; the speciality coffees are priced equally well. All of the coffee is supplied by local roasters Berardi's, who spent a generous three months with Cork & Beans staffers educating them on how to brew the perfect cup. A light coffee bar menu is available.
The Story
Owned by a husband-and-wife team, the Orecchios, Cork & Beans is one of the best places you can go to buy a bottle of wine. They knows and like a good deal, and will go out of their way for clients with discounts, special orders and curbside service.
