Catering to the area's corporate clientele, Cork & Beans deal in the two most heavenly liquids: wine and coffee. Inside this 750-square-foot, table-strewn shop, over 1,200 labels of wine are sold at state-minimum prices; the speciality coffees are priced equally well. All of the coffee is supplied by local roasters Berardi's, who spent a generous three months with Cork & Beans staffers educating them on how to brew the perfect cup. A light coffee bar menu is available.

The Story
Owned by a husband-and-wife team, the Orecchios, Cork & Beans is one of the best places you can go to buy a bottle of wine. They knows and like a good deal, and will go out of their way for clients with discounts, special orders and curbside service. The shop is pretty cozy on the bottom level of the Huntington Building, and unless jobs go scarce, the clientele will remain steady.
