Vegetables You'll Crow About. My first visit to Pizzazz yielded a delicious lunch of roasted vegetables with basil pesto olive oil and a warm chicken sandwich on toasted ciabatta bread with artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers and provolone cheese. I need to go back and sample some of the many other menu items. Expect delicious, fresh and exciting combinatins of flavors - you won't be disappointed.

Great people watching/listening!. Because this location is right across from a private university, I have often heard some pretty hilarious parent/child discussions ("No, dad, I need more than $50 a day for food unless you want me becoming anorexic or something"). Easedropping just makes the time fly by as you await your pizza. We always get a pepperoni diablo pizza and salads. I crave the house Italian dressing as I write this! The Pepsi served here is the sweetest I have had in this country--a big plus in my book.

Pizzazz Pizza may be the best. Excellent pizza, we are bi-weekly customers to one of their two locations. We order our pizza "extra thick" and are never disappointed with the consistently good tasting food at either of this restaurant's two locations. Highly recommend. Also at the North Park, John Carroll University location only is the fantastic cajun chicken salad that is a must with any meal there; same fantastic house italian dressing as the Mayfield Village location. This location is owned by a family member of the original owners at Mayfield Village. This location is a bigger restaurant and bar than the Mayfield Village location. Excellent service with always an attentiveness to the customer's needs.

yum. Pizzazz pizza, pasta, salads, and subs are all amazing. I fell in love with their absolutely delicious pesto cream with ziti pasta and grilled chicken breast, as a young teen. Having spent 10 years attending Laurel School in shaker, only minutes from pizzazz, my friends and i got our share of the joint. The ambiance and food aided in many fond memories. I highly recommend lunch or dinner at pizzazz. Their simple house salad is the best i've ever had. I recently took my new husband back to cleveland with me, and took him to lunch, he couldn't believe how great the food was either.

This little brick building looks more like part of the adjoining John Carroll University campus than a pasta joint.. The Scene
A casual but well-heeled crowd likes to gather at sunset to dress down, kick back, and debate the day. Enter, and you're swept up in a distinct job-fair vibe. To the left of you, a roomy, booth-laden, very blond dining room dispenses grilled meats, four cheese calzones (a kind of goodie-filled pastry pocket) and a fiery shrimp diablo pasta platter. To the right of you, a sleek tavern area buzzes with draft beer, strong spirits, and any number of theories on the inability of JCU sports teams to crack the winners' circle. Straight ahead, a tiled takeout counter dispenses pizza by the box and pasta by the tin. Onward rides the 600, which is the approximate head count here on a hip and hungry evening.

The Food
Dinner might be the house clam sauce over linguine, a healthy statement. The Cholesterol Monster pizza chaser (pepperoni, sausage, salami, meatballs and ham)on the other hand, might inspire coronary vapor lock in a triathlete.

The Finale
By the time the nearby campus bell tower strikes curfew, everyone's carrying a cardboard caseload-- most likely the Classic Deluxe, a thick crust beauty covered in veggies and spiced meats. The rest of the subs, salads, and sausage stuffed peppers should also be regarded as required courses.
