TONGUE TINGLING. This place is GREAT. The atmosphere is wonderful, TC makes you feel right at home (without the messy kitchen). But the best part is the food, everything from the hot & sour soup, to happy family. The beef is especially tender and all dishes are served hot and timely. My favorite is the general Tso chicken, best in the city.

A peaceful atmosphere married with a variety of tasty Asian dishes..
The Scene
This is a fine spot for a serenity check. The servers pad around silently. The conversation at the tables flows freely. Even the glass divider between the cashier's station and the dining room is etched with peaceful chrysanthemums. You may even forget you're in Coventry, one of the most eclectic neighborhoods in the Forest City.
The Food
Not limited to one culinary school, Hunan spins a greatest hits compilation of Szechwan, Cantonese, Shanghai and Mandarin cooking. The difference is in the details, like the scallions in the wonton soup, the snap of the pea pods in the Hunan beef and in the merry blend of beef, shrimp and chicken dubbed the Happy Family. Cashew chicken is a favorite: Though the tofu variation wasn't a winner, vegetarians will find plenty to please, like the Mandarin mix of stir-fried vegetables.

Mouth full of Flavor!.
Hunan Coventry is the best tasting food you would ever want to experience!
Not only is the taste compelling to bring you back time after time, but, just when you think you couldn't eat another bite.....they bring the crab rangoon.........oh my, be good to your mouth and try it. You will absolutely love it.
The food, the friendly people, the comfortable dining room......its a wonderful experience. The sauce is the magic and very addicting...

Good Chinese. Over the years, Hunan has never waned in consisitency, service or freindliness. the food is always fast, hot and delicious. Servers are accomodating. Make reservations for large groups or weekend dining, and you won't be disappointed. The sesame beef is by far some of the best I've tasted anywhere.

Coventry Classic. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Cleveland, Hunan Coventry offers smartly-spiced, well-prepared dishes in a lovely space. Good service and decent prices are a plus, but it's the cooking that's the real draw here -- as it should be.
