A great stop. My wife and I usually stop in for a "Guiness" before or after movie at the Cedar Lee. Fun to sit at the bar and watch the bar staff (usually attractive younger female type) pour the drink - obviously trained in the proper way. They even have a food menu - so long as it can be deep fried !!! Love those cheddar cheese poppers ! Definitely a good place to stop for a drink - and good selection of sports showing on any one of their several TVs

Best Guinness pour in Cleveland. With the Cavs in the playoffs and the games on cable, a group of friends and I started going here for all of the games. I had been there once before and enjoyed the place. It's a small pub (though larger since they took over the next store front a while back). Everything here is authentic Irish pub (to me). Soccer, rugby, or local sports are always on the tv's. If you'd prefer there are a couple dart boards to pass the time between drinks. All of the Guinness beers are on tap (Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks) as well as Killians, Bass, Miller Lite and a few that rotate. Happy hour has great deals ($3 pints among other things). They have minimal food, which are all fried but all great. I recommend the Fish and chips. If you're in the mood for something that's actually Irish unlike Claddagh, come here.

Every night is a good night to visit. I began going to Parnell's Tuesday nights with a girl friend and quickly became comfortable with the bar. Although we were newly 21 neither one of us felt as if we were out of place. The bartenders are very friendly and will likely sit and chat with you about anything you throw their way. The clientelle is regular as I have been for the last 3 years and you are likely to see a familiar face most times you walk in for a drink. Parnell's is ussually pretty crowded on the weekends with a steady crowd on the week but has become more popular ever since it has been completely non-smoking! (So nice, you don't smell like a bar when you leave!) The owner, Declan is straight from Dublin, Ireland with the accent to prove it and I am widely impressed that he has held the quality of an Irish Pub up to what it should be. For instance: no water in your whiskey, no green beer on St. Patty's Day, and absolutely no irish car bombs.. and if you don't understand why go in and ask him. The tap handles they have on draft are any beer drinkers fantasy and if you don't like beer the full bar is perfect for any mixed drink. Anyways, the Guinness at Parnell's is poured to perfection! The small appetizer menu may be a bit decieving as it looks small and greasy but anything on the menu is actually quite tasty.. I reccomend the basket of fries or the fish & chips.. perfect with any pint. And NO Corned Beef & Cabbage on this menu.. probably because it isn't an Irish dish to begin with! I swear visit any pub in Ireland and I swear when you come back to Cleveland at a barstool in Parnell's you'll feel right at home.

This classy east side bar is green, movie-related and twice the size it used to be.. In Short
The full name of this clean, cozy spot is The Charles Stewart Parnell, but it's just Parnell's to its numerous friends. Adjacent to Cleveland's hip Cedar Lee cinema and located in a happening neighborhood, the formerly-wee Parnell's has annexed the space next door; now, besides upscale filmgoers, the place draws music acts and English-football fans, who enjoy watching matches on projected screens. A framed autographed jersey attests to the 1994 Cleveland-hosted World Cup.

Rugby all the time. Great pub! Always welcoming and great selection of beers. They have added a menu too, which we all enjoy. They have rugby on the TV seven days a week which is AWESOME for all us ruggers. It is one of the few pubs around where old and young alike co mingle and have a great time!

See you there!
