family company. Shaker Auto Hospital has been working on my cars for over 10 yrs, oil changes, brake pads, hose replacements, air conditioning re-charging, etc.. I usually get my car in right away. One time the owners son even gave me a ride home.. They have me and my families best interest at heart. Theirs prices are very reasonable tt. Everytime I go there I am greeted by my name I feel like one of the family. I definately would give them a chance. They are very honest and trustworthy.…
Don't have my confidence.
They replaced my rear wheel bearings on my car no problem. However, the ABS sensor stopped working and when I brought it back (for them to fix, or reconnect, or whatever, since it was working before
they touched the car), the guy told me that they would charge for labor and parts. The concept of "releasing the car with a new problem that we caused" didn't register with the guy. The concept of "put the car on the lift for free to see if we left a wire disconnected" didn't register either. I just walked out and I'll need to re-connect or replace the ABS sensor myself or go to another garage.
The work on the bearings was fine, but if it were my garage, I'd be a little more concerned for a customer who gets a car back with an additional problem that my mechanics caused. They left me the impression that money was more important, so I'm not giving them my business again.…
Honest Mechanics, Friendly Service. The guys at Shaker Auto have been my family's mechanics for many years and through many cars. They are honest, pleasant, and do good work. I would recomend them to everyone I know.
