This once long, low, and cavernous space has been filled foyer to fine wine cellar with everything you'd find in SoHo's trendiest star feeder: the glassware is polished, the cutlery gleams, the white tablecloths are spotless, and the ladies who lunch here are slim as breadsticks.
The Food
Basic American food like beef and fish gets an imaginative nouvelle twist, like the roasted chicken with a wild mushroom and bread salad. There's a cigar mezzanine for the tobacco set, and heavy velvet curtains for a touch of the Big Easy complete a very pretty package. Check out the wall mural.

Stopped in for lunch last Friday and even though they were busy, the friendly hostess took great care of us. I loved the menu selection, lots of choices of salads and entrees, something for every taste. The Burger is huge with a mound of French Fries, it really was one of the best burgers I have had in a long, long time. It was so big, I took the remainder home with me. Great service, prompt and accomodating, definitely will make a return trip soon

We recently visited Moxie and thoroughly enjoyed it. Valet parking was nice, so was the wine list. Food was exceptional. Getting drinks seemed to take too long (although they were busy) and the open kitchen is too noisy if sitting directly in front of it. Tables are also a little close if you are looking for a truly romantic evening. All and all, Moxie was worth the trip.

Having never been to Moxie before, I was quite interested in checking it out and decided to take a date for Sweetest Day. Everything was perfect. From the artisanal cheeses, to the wine, to the ceasar salad, to the filet of beef with hunter sauce and mushrooms. Fantastic. My date was equally impressed with her mixed greens and cherry balsamic vinagrette and herb-encrusted walleye. The service was also impressive.
