Great Experience. After having heard many good things about Snow Brothers, it was time for us to shop for our new kitchen appliances. Hands down, in all the years of shopping for large ticket items, I believe we have found one of the best well informed staff and truly kind well intentioned group of people.

Our sales person was very knowledgeable in all areas of kitchen applliances. We experienced a bit of delay when the range we had chosen ended up on back order, but our sales person informed us and we adjusted and made do.

The delivery staff as well, went above and beyond to care for our home and new appliances as they made the delivery.

All in all our experience with Snow Bros was A1. We will continue to return there time after time and will recommend them to all of our friends and family.

A Great Experience. After reading some of the reviews for this company, I'll admit I was a little apprehensive about shopping there. The negative reviews couldn't be further from the truth. We were renovating our home and Snow Bros had the best selection and display of products of anyone in town. Their sales staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The products we needed were in stock and delivered as promised. To suggest a "big box" store in comparison is ludicrous The pricing was fair and the customer service was fantastic, I'd recommend them to anyone. No wonder they have been in business for over eighty years.

Beware of Snow Brothers:The Owner is a Bully. One might as well buy over the internet because Snow Brothers does not help when the purchased item has a problem and under warranty. Snow Brothers will even charge you to have the defective appliance installed and the defective one removed. The owner will cross his arms, stare you down and intimidate you to make you go away. I had purchased all our appliances from them over 13 years and he still treated me as if their motto is "Buyer Beware." Once you buy from them you are on your own with any product issues. I try to shop local but I would not recommend shopping at Snow Brothers after my encounter with the owner.

Helpful, friendly, and a good deal. Snow Brothers is a great family business and it’s owners and staff are all committed to excellent customer service. They go out of their way to ensure that you’re not just buying a product that works, but a product is the best deal for the best price with the best rebates that more than meets your needs (while staying in budget) to ensure your satisfaction. Delivery staff are capable and courteous. They are all very knowledgeable and provide information that helps make you make the best purchase possible so you're not buying/paying for features you wouldn't use. I have every confidence in shopping with them now and in the future.

How are they still in business..?. We shopped at Snow Brothers 5528 Mayfield Road, Mayfield (Cleveland) Ohio. We purchased a new house with no appliances so we did all shopping at Snow Brothers. We bought refrigerator, cooktop, double oven, microwave and cooktop vent from these guys totaling close to $17,000 so you would think they would do a great job. Sales process was great - they explained everything to us, followed up promptly, etc... All the good things stopped once we wrote that check in their name. Without going into all the details, they were not worth it. Once we paid, we were told certain things were on back order with no expected date of arrival - shouldn't they have said that when we paid? I cannot live without a cooktop indefinitely - I can adjust but I should at least know when it will arrive... We had to change our order to get other brands so we can have our appliances sooner. I wasted a lot of time researching items that were not available in the first place. They dont have anything in stock, it takes a couple days to a couple weeks to get the appliances shipped to their location from the warehouse, then they deliver to your house - nobody called to tell us if they got the shipment; I had to call them every couple of days to see if certain pieces have arrived. At one point it turned out that the double oven had been in their warehouse for a week and we were not called (when we were buying, we were promised a call as soon as they receive an item so we can schedule a delivery asap). I also had to call in and ASK for items to be delivered... The sales rep tried to schedule a deliver 2 weeks out – after I gave him a piece of my mind – he “pulled some stings” and scheduled it within 48 hours. Absurd…

My $2,300 refrigerator sounds like a semi truck when the motor is working. I called to get maintenance but have yet to hear back.

This is a high end store, I could've gone to a chain store and bought all items there; part of Snow Brothers ridiculously high prices is for customer service. With my experience, there was no customer service. I would not go through them again.. I bought my dishwasher from Lowes and it works great.

After spending $13,662, owner accused me of being a liar!. WARNING: NEVER SHOP AT SNOW BROS FOR APPLIANCES. We spent $13,662 on 8 appliances delivered to two houses. Rick (sales) was helpful and scheduled the deliveries the same day. It was awful from then on. One delivery man complained non-stop for hours - didn't like moving appliances up and down stairs in old houses or delivering to two houses. When they were removing and installing the washer and dryer at our house, they had to remove the old dryers (we had 2) from the basement. I emptied the clothes out of one dryer when they asked me to go up stairs to remove a door jam to get the appliances in and out easier. They said they'd take the clothes out of the 2nd dryer and put them in the laundry basket. (BIG MISTAKE TRUSTING THEM.) After installing 8 appliances, complaining this was the hardest install they ever had and now have to work late to get the other deliveries done - I actually felt bad for them. I bought them some cold drinks and tipped them $120 for the trouble. (ANOTHER BIG MISTAKE.) After they left, this is what I discovered: 1) A refrigerator with a dent on the front of the freezer door, 2) a freezer that shouldn't - frosts up, 3) a washer that wouldn't even start, and 4) over $400 worth of new mens dress shirts, jeans and pants were missing.

Once I returned home to see the dent on the fridge door panel and called Snow Bros. They ordered a replacement panel. The following day we realized the clothes were missing. Called Snow Bros again. They said they'd call back. Nothing. We called again and again and were bounced between the store and their warehouse (where the old dryer was taken) - each saying we had to talk to the other. When nothing happen, we called Rick who told us there were no clothes in the old dryer. Well, what can I say - the clothes were there when the dryer was taken, the old dryer was still in their warehouse, so if the clothes weren't in the dryer, who took them? No response. We go to use the new washer. It wouldn't come on. We called Snow Bros again. A week later, a repairman tells us the entire control panel was damaged in shipping. He orders a new panel and installs it a week later. About this same time, we notice frost build up in the freezer (same one that's dented.) We call Snow Bros yet again to be told, "Your freezer door panel is in, but the gasket wasn't installed properly. It takes a few days to get a new gasket, so we'll call you back in a day or so and come fix both items." Two weeks later, still nothing. But the worst happened was today. I called and asked to talk to the owner. Susan comes on the phone. I explained all that has happened. I wasn't unpleasant or rude, but firm in my frustration with them. I asked if she could do anything about the hassle we'd been put through, the still damaged fridge and our lost clothes. At a minimum, I thought she'd apologize, agree to talk to her delivery guys about complaining to customers and the warehouse for not getting us our clothes, and check on the status of my fridge repair. INSTEAD, THE OWNER STARTED YELLING AT ME, REPEATEDLY ACCUSE ME OF LYING, SAY SHE'S GOING TO DO ANYTHING AT ALL - ALL THE PROBLEMS WERE OUR FAULT - NOT HERS. I couldn't believe it.

Go anywhere else but Snow Bros.

Buyer Beware! Never buy anything from Snow Brothers!!!!. We have spent nearly $5000 on appliances from Snow Brothers including a dishwasher, refrigerator and cooktop. My family has spent nearly $10000 there as well on kitchen appliances.

We had an issue with one of the items we purchased where the insulation for the glass cooktop ignited on fire.

GE came out and replaced the glass top under warranty...but we do not feel safe having this product in our home. We have 2 young children and we refuse to put their lives at risk with an item that could possibly burn our house down.

My wife called the owner "Bill" to see if they would replace the cooktop with a different brand or style....he said no. My wife then asked him how he sleeps at night knowing that the insulation in our cooktop ignited and lit on fire and doing nothing about it.... Bill said he "sleeps like a baby."

I have called and left 3 separate messages for Bill to return my calls. Bill must be a busy man as he has yet to return my calls. You would think as busy as he is he is running a multi-billion dollar, multi-location business. Well, he isn't. The fact is Bill could care less about his customers.

Bill told my wife that every customer complaining makes threats that they are going to sue or call the news and complain. Guess what Bill, we aren't taking "screw you" for an answer. We have passed all of our information on to our attorney.

Never buy from Snow Brothers!!! They don't stand behind the products they sell and their customer service skills are non-existent. Their owner is only concerned with one thing; Taking your money.

Buy from Lowe's or Home Depot! The national chains are likely to stand behind the products they sell.

Learn from our mistake and DO NOT BUY FROM SNOW BROTHERS in LYNDHURST, OHIO!!!

Always pleased with Snow Bros.. I have purchased 7 different major appliances over the 25 years since I moved back to Cleveland, all from Snow Bros. My parents and grandparents before me also dealt with Snow. I have always had excellent customer service from their salespeople and delivery people. None of the issues others have reported. I find their prices to be competitive. Their salespeople have never pressured me into purchasing features I don't need. As a matter of fact, I will need a new refrigerator soon and have every intention of buying it at Snow.
