Otani's has a ton of tasty vegetarian options - even sushi. My meat eating friends seem to love the sushi. We always sit on the traditional side where its quiet.

hey heinz! that night when you guys hooked us up with all the sushi AND hibachi with all of our favorite ohioans sitting around the table ranks high among my top 5 most memorable and awesome meals ever! (and the other few times i was there comprise most of the rest of them haha) just wondering, can nimbus rolls be shipped to los angel...es haha? i need one NOW!!! :)

The other day I went to Otani Japanese Restaurant and it was AMAZING!! They had the best salmon. The hibachi and sushi was the best. The chef and waitress was so nice! I got to meet the boss. They are all so nice! The rice was different then the other restaurants. I went there twice in a row and I usually get sick of sushi in twice in a row but this time I didn't get sick! We had to wait just a little bit but it was worth it! While we waited we watched the football team play and eat salad and miso soup.

Went to Otani for 1/2 price sushi, the sushi is as good as Sushi Rock or Pacifie East.

I had hibachi - steak in a black pepper and teriyaki sauce. It came with a choice of mushroom or miso soup, garden salad with a ginger dressing, fried or boiled rice, and a bowl of bean sprouts to go along with the beef. The mushroom soup was simple - but exquisitely flavored. The fried rice was not over greasy or flavored - a perfect combination with the spicy beef dish. The star was the plum wine - dense and sweet. It went perfectly with the rich steak.

I went there for sushi. Sushi bar staff is friendly. I had ordered chirashi for the first time. They were very helpful in answering my questions. Dining there was a pleasant experience.

the food is wonderful. Otani's is great! the food is wonderful the service and the entire dining experience all together. also the chefs are very ncie and love to talk and make you feel comfortable.
