A strange way to run a bakery...

On 4/10/09, at 7:15 AM, I ordered a white or yellow Easter cake with white frosting, and lettering. I was told they would add the lettering when I picked up the cake. I stopped at 2:00 PM that day to pick up my cake and was told it had been sold---and did I want a chocolate cake? No, if I had wanted a chocolate Easter cake I would have ordered a chocolate Easter cake. How is it possible to treat customers with such insolence?

perogies are very good and a good price, they have a lot of filling and the dough is soft and we like the cheesecake also....I wish they were open on Sundays, it would be nice to stop in after church...... have ordered cakes from them also and they were good and many people in the family started ordering from them this past year after seeing the ones we have had...I don't understand why I need 100 woods !!

• Cons: the phone number I have on my flyer from them isn't good anymore---nor is the web site info

Rudy's is back under original ownership!

I was very pleased to see that Rudy's is back under the original ownership. I've been a regular customer for many years (and am an especially big fan of their pierogies). Now that Eugenia's back the quality is better than I recently remember it. My wife and I also had our wedding cake through them (four years ago), they did a really great job. I highly recommend.

• Cons: Closed on Mondays
