Avoid Wedding Cakes!!!. While Rudy's does have great Pirogies and I have had great birthday cakes from them, I would not recommend letting them have anything to do with your wedding! We got our wedding shower cake from there and it was cracked all down the middle. While we were given our money back along with the manager's apologies, they still messed up our wedding cake. We went there twice to go over the details and even provided pictures of what we wanted it to look like and they pretty much just did their own thing. While it wasn't horrible, it definitely was not what we specifically asked for OR what our pictures looked like. The reception hall was not happy with their service either. Apparently they are very hard to get ahold of and when they dropped off the cake they left it for the vendor to set up.

BEWARE. READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING THEM FOR YOUR WEDDING

CAKE!!!!!!! Rudy's was supposed to do my wedding cake for my

wedding June 9, well let me tell you being the bride and bawling for

an hour on your wedding day is not fun. The cake that showed up

was horrible!!!! We had went to the shop two times to make sure they

knew exactly what we wanted. We even called the Monday before

the wedding to make sure everything was set. The cake was never

decorated, and had fondant on it even though we specifically said

NO fondant. The icing had a ton of nicks in it and was not smooth.

The person who dropped off the cake supposedly forgot the flowers

under the seat of the car and of course we couldn't get a hold of

them. They ended up having to buy $75 worth of real flowers just to

make it look OK. BEWARE BEFORE YOU USE THEM FOR YOU

WEDDING CAKE. They ruined my day don't let them ruin yours!!!!!!!!!!
