Extremely Rude.
I recently attended my grandmother's funeral at this funeral and I have to say, I have never felt more disrespected by a group of people in my life. I have no idea why they are in this business if
they can't even show common courtesy to the family of the deceased.
During a break period between viewings, while my mother was crying over the casket of her mother(as we had not left between view times since the break was so short), whoever was in charge at the time stormed into the room to yell at my family as we hadn't left yet. He yelled in the face of my crying mother because he had "things to do," and continued to make disrespectful comments. I tried to explain that we were going to the basement to rest (there was about an hour before the next viewing and there were only a couple of us in the room), but he continued to make rude, condescending comments such as "that's what the break is for." Had we known we were not welcome in the funeral home in general during this time, we would have left.
It took us a while to get to the basement as my grandfather has a difficult time walking, and during this time the man simply stared at us and made hushed comments to whoever he was working with at the time. I found him extremely rude. While a few staff members were kind, the majority of our experience was dreadful. On the last day, one of the women working there was rude to us as we had moved a table downstairs a few inches (to accommodate my great aunt in her wheelchair, of all things). It was a culmination of petty, unfeeling comments that amounted to a very unsympathetic experience.
I cannot tell you how disrespected I feel by this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Make sure to look out for the rudest funeral director with the white hair - he is the most disingenuous of them all.
Please take your business elsewhere. The fact that they yelled at my sobbing mother should be enough to dissuade anyone.…
