EXTREMELY SLOW NON RELIABLE. I had called a taxi cab for one of my guests. I was told the taxi would be here with in 30-45 minutes, 1hour later the taxi cab would be here in 10 minutes and when we called back after 35 minutes they said the cab would be here 7-10 minutes. My guest was waiting for 2 hours for the cab. Horrible service. I then contacted yellow cab they accept credit card and were here with in 20 minutes before southwest even arrived!!!!!
Morons Running The Asylum. It's unfortunate you can't give negative stars. Any good reviews of this so called business are written by 'friends'. Why has this business license been canceled by the Sect. of State in 1983??? If you need a cab do not call this place. The drivers are 65 and up and are very dangerous drivers. I had one complain to me about how he needs to get his cataracts removed. The cranky old lady dispatcher is the owner's wife.
Dispatchers - Be Nice and Breathe.
As a receptionist, I know that some callers can be rude. It's hard to be friendly with people who are set on ruining everyone else's day because that person is also miserable.
But a friendly greeting will do wonders. Everyone is stressed when they need to call a cab. Being friendly will decrease that stress for both you and the customer.
Southwest Cab. I saw a rating of 1 star and I did not think it was fair... Southwest has always picked me up on time. The drivers are good talkers so I'm never bored.. ...If Southwest picked me up in a Limo I guess I would give them a 5 stars..
Customer Care Executive is Craby. She (Debbie) doesnt know how to talk to a customer or any human being, I would suggest you not to use this service, we used this service for around one month but the behavior of this lady is irresistible...
Dispatcher can't be bothered during peak times..
I am fairly certain that the problem with this company is the cranky old lady dispatcher that apparently works alot. I have used this company many times over the last year but Friday 8/1/08 was and will be the last time.
Myself and a couple coworkers are from out of the state and come into Cleveland for work. We are often here over the weekend and like to get a cab if we go out since we don't know the city that well. On that particular Friday we had this company drop us off at one of the local places and let them know we would be needing them later. "Just call us and we'll have the closest guy swing by," we were told. We called into the dispatcher at about 1:15 AM knowing that it would probably be a little busier than normal. The dispatcher quoted us 30 minutes. As the bar closed at 2 AM went just outside the building to wait for our cab that was now 15 minutes late. 15 mins later we put in the second call.
Dispatcher: "Southwest Cab"
Me: "Yeah, we had arranged for a cab to pick us up here at ..."
Dispatcher: "Yeah I remember a Josh calling in from that location"
Me: "Do you know about how much longer it is going to be?"
Dispatcher: "Well at least 30 minutes, we are very backed up right now."
Me: "You told me 30 minutes an hour ago, do you have any way of knowing for sure? Are we next on the list?"
Dispatcher: "Like I said we are very busy, we don't have anyone near there now."
Me: "I'm looking for some kind of semi-accurate estimate here. If you had told me an hour ago that it would be an hour and a half then I could have checked with other cab companies. Should I be calling them now?"
Dispatcher: "Why don't you do that!" Click...
I subsequently called back and was hung up on about 5 times by this same lady as she told me she didn't have time to play games.
Now we are stranded at 3 AM in a town we aren't familiar with, and the only people we knew who could get us home not answering our calls...didn't feel like a game to me.
I have been a user of SWC for about 30 yrs now. On may 30 2008 at about 11:30 or so I called a cab to go to Parma Police Dept. The dispatcher said for an ETA when it gets there. I was really pressed for time that day and was gotten alternative accomodations. When I called back to ca the cab the dispatcher screamed at me: sure at $4.00 a gallon just CA it. When i called back later to complain and asked for Dave the owner the same dispatcher yelled at me im the owner and gave me a difficult time. Well Dave did return my call on Saturday, and evidently I was trashed by the dispatcher quit effectivly. I explained to him that I was a 30 yr. customer, always a very good tipper to his drivers, always told them to put there meter on when they reached my location etc. I guess his dispatcher coverd her tracks ,filled him with all kinds of lies about me saying the drivers have to wait on me etc.etc. He was also told that i never called to Ca the cab that day and the driver came and waited on a no show fair.. This person dispatching for him has sure pulled the wool over his judgement!. In any event even the owner Dave told me off and to go elsewhere after 30 yrs of loyal service to his cab company.. His attitude was just as obnoxious as his dispatcher was. The customer has no standing with this gentleman. I will go elsewhere I did not realize just how many other cab companys there are. Iam sorry though that the owner Dave had such a tramp trashy care less attitude towards a long time customer as my self. Its to bad that its the drivers who will eventually suffer for these two morons who stand between the customers and the excellent drivers. richard t steiner.
