I purchased an Electric Stove and Refrigerator from Interstate Kitchen Supply at 3800 Brookpark Road Cleveland 44134. There were two Stoves my wife and I liked. We decided on the one I like best it had more features and more stainless steel on it. They delivered the Stove on or around June 26.On deliver day we told the men delivering the stove it was not the stove we ordered. They checked the model number on the delivery order and said it was the right one. I said evidently my sales person put the wrong model number down. The delivery men could have called the office and took it back but they were not concerned with my problem. After they left I called my sales person and she said that it is the one my wife liked and I said we decided on other one and you put down the wrong Model number. She also said the delivery men were too far to return. And if I wanted to exchange I would have to pay restocking fee of 20%.At this point we had no choice but to be stuck with a stove I do not want. Appliances are not something you buy very often. I was very upset over this matter.
On July 15th they delivered the Refrigerator that was on back order. I explain to the delivery man about the stove problem we had he told me to call the manager Bill Donley. Also the new Refrigerator had a dent in the door and handle and also scratch in the door. I did call Bill Donley the next day July 16 I explained what has happened to us. He told me he would call General Electric to see what they could do to help me and said I will call you back the next day. He did not call me the next day. I waited a few days and called him back around July 22 and Bill Donley said he has not heard anything back from General Electric. I waited to July 30 and called him back and left a message to call me back on this matter. He call me back on or About 8-05-09.We made a verbal agreement over the phone that he would send me a rebate check for $100.00.I waited for two weeks and call Bill Donley back .I called him back on or about 8-21-09 left him a message I did not receive a check..As of 9-18-09 I have not heard from him or received a check. I did file a complaint with the B B B. Beware if you buy from Interstate Kitchen Supply if they make a mistake you will pay for it.
