Horrible

I have never been so unhappy with a bridal store. I have been to Catan's about 4 times now and everytime it is pretty much empty and you cannot find an employee to help out. And when you finally do find an employee to help out they have no idea what is going on.

I ordered a bridesmaid dress through them and although i told them i am a 0 they still ordered me a 6. The alerations will cost more than the dress did. I told them to at least order me a 2 but they said the dresses run small. The only dress they had in store similar to the dress was a size 14, so we couldn't even try it on to compare sizes.

I called in to complain about the huge size difference and they were extremly rude and told me that it was my fault. Umm pretty sure it is their job to pick the right sizes.

I will never go to Catan's again and hope word gets out on their awful service and lack of knowledge on bridal and bridesmaid dresses.

P.S. I would give this place no stars but the website requires you to pick at least 1.

A True Business

Catans has been my dress shop since I went to my first school dance in 8th grade. I have always had wonderful experiences with the workers and Pat Catan herself! They are always honest on what styles work best for you (which may cause some problems for people because you don't always look good in what you like!!) and by doing so you leave there looking your best! When it came time for my wedding, I made the mistake of being sucked in by another bridal shop that lied and made promises that never came true. Going back to Catans, they came through for me and I could not have been happier with the results. My dress was bustled beautifully, the bridesmaid’s dresses fit just as the employee predicted and they needed little alterations, and when the flower girl dress was sent in the wrong size they did everything possible to correct it. The dress arrived two days before the wedding and they altered it on the spot. They also have a tuxedo company on site with colors that match the bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly, and I say colors because I had six. Very professional company who will never let you leave looking anything but your best.

Rude Employees

I went to Catan Fashions when it first opened for the day. I was expecting really good customer service from the consultants. However, I got the extreme opposite. My consultant was rude and not helpful at all. When asking me questions about what dress I was looking for (I still don't know why she asked me these questions..she never used my answers to help me) she made me feel like a complete moron with her attitude and how she spoken to me. She looked like she just rolled out of bed, her hair was a mess and her clothes were NOT professional looking. She did absolutely nothing to help me. She just basically showed me dresses in my prize range and left me to figure out that they don't carry all the sizes..So me..a size 4 was "trying on" a size 14. I was looking through a Catan book and I asked her if she had a specific dress I actually liked. She said she didn't know but found a dress that didn't look anything like the dress I liked. So when I found three dresses that were worth something, I waited and waited for her to reappear (let me reminded you the store is still completely dead). Finally she asked if I wanted to try the dresses on.. So I try on the over sized dress, come out holding it up so it doesn't fall, and wait for her to come back to explain the train and pin the dress...She never came...So, I just left the store without trying on any of the other dresses.

Their dresses are way over priced and they are UGLY. Do not waste your time at this place...You will regret it.

David's Bridal is a much better choice.
