The Scene
Excellent business sense and talented seamstresses, consultants and designers have made Pat Catan's the ultimate bridal-shopping spot in Ohio. Customers are treated as guests, greeted at the door and escorted to a private room to be dazzled with dresses, shoes, gloves, jewelry, cake toppers, veils and headpieces by one of the 14 staff wedding consultants. Chances are you'll be assisted by Pat Catan herself, who modeled the store after ideas she picked up from "Gone With the Wind," her mother's favorite movie.
The Selection
A collection of 1,200 wedding dresses from more than 50 designers fill the racks of Catan's Southern Plantation Bridal Boutique. A broad range of styles and sizes come in an equally broad range of fabrics, from linen, Italian satin and silk to light cotton blends. All gowns are specially made-to-order and in-house alterations are included in the purchase price.
What Don't They Do?
The only thing Catan's doesn't do is cater ... yet. They recently purchased the empty Pearl Road Finast building just down the street; this will eventually become the store's new location, featuring a catwalk for two live fashion shows each week. The current bridal center will go back to being a craft center.

I went to Cantan's for my bridesmaids dresses. The girls were very lazy and unhelpful. My maids and I did all the work, pulling the dresses, finding the styles, and tracking down someone to get our sizes. They also tried up size my bridesmaid, meaning more money for take ins. Even though they have lots of vendors and options the customer service was not worth the headache. I went out three times with my maids to get the dresses ordered. I asked four times what my color options were, the girls all said any of the 55 five colors could be used. Here we are 4 yes 4 weeks after ordering the dresses and there is a problem with the colors, only 12 of the 55 can be used for the style dress that I got for the brides maids. While Davids bridal has less of a selection their customer service is great. I had no problems getting help there. I wish I would have spent the extra 52 dollars at Davids, Cause now I have to make a fourth trip out to fix the problem.

Do not waste your time or money at this place! I ordered my bridesmaid dress from there, they admitted that they ordered the wrong siz and refuse to do anything about it! None of the bridesmaids got dresses that fit! They ordered the dress 2 sizes to big so to take it in will cost $70.00 then it will need hemmed (although it is tea length) and that will cost me another $40.00. They want to charge me $110.00 when the dress is worth $150.00! They said i could talk to a seamstress, but what is that going to do, because it is still going to cost me pretty much the cost of the dress to get it right! I have 2 close friends that bought their wedding dress there in the last couple of months. They are both extremly unhappy with the service. They might have cheap gowns, but they charge you $300.00 in your "bridal package" for your alterations. I bought a designer gown at a high end store and they are only charging me $75.00 for all of my alterations! CATANS IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!! DONT WAST TIME OR MONEY THERE!
