bad, bad. My family of 5 arrived at around 5pm and there was only 1 person eating in there. We were sat by a gentleman in an apron (cook?) and we said we had a child with us and still gave us an adult menu for him said he can make anything on the menu for a child. He disappeared for awhile came back with bread and oil took our drink order came back 10min later said the blender was broken. He proceeded to take our order and disappeared again. Then a younger gentleman came out asked for our drink order and asked if we ordered already. Came back out 10mins later with water and more bread. We did get a kids menu too! We got our salads that came with the meal, not enough dressing for the salad. We finally got our drinks. We had also ordered mozzerella wedges and they were out and Chocolate milk for the little one and they had no milk either. We had 2 chicken marsallas and 2 veal parmagina and the "cook" guy that took our order messed it up. they gave us veal marsalla and chicken parm. We sent them back and the chicken came out 5 mins later and then the veal came out 5mins after that. My parents veal was well under cooked, werent able to cut it and my mom was able to taste the blood. We let the server know and we said that he was already taking care of the veal cause it took so long. We finally got out of there 1.5hrs later! Only 2 table in there the whole time. The waiter was at least nice enough to take care of the Veal portion of the bill but still, something didnt seem right. We were gonna use out whole $100 gc but only used $50 now we have to go back again to a place less desirable then Olive Garden. We wouldve gotten better food AND service there for the same price of $50. For a place with so many bad reviews, im surprised this place is still open! Im thinking it a front for the mafia, common, not being busy bad service no one there and the food getting messed up? id expect this from a restaurant grossing 300 guests an hr not 8 guests an hour.…
Bad Service, Bad Food. My husband & I tried Agostino's for the first time last night. It will be our last. We waited to be seated, waited to get drinks, waited for our order to be taken, waited & waited for our food. At one point there 5 tables with customers, 2 waitresses, 1 bus boy & a couple that appeared to be the owners. With 5 customers & 5 employees you would expect great service! We could barely get anyone's attention to place our order. Our waitress kept disappearing in the back for 10-15 minutes at a time. All would have been forgiven if he food had been okay. It was not. The bacon wrapped scallops were cold. My seafood pizza which was suppose to have shrimp, scallops, & calamari had 1 shrimp, 2 scallops & seriously overcooked calamari. Lobster ravioli was okay. When we complained, our waitress apologized & said they were short handed.…
Agostino's Ristorante. This is now under NEW ownership and the food is outstanding! The Jam Night on Tuesday's is awesome! This is going to be quite a big hotspot!!!
LIKE WE WERENT EVEN THERE!!!.
So me and 4 others from work heard that this was a great place for lunch. we walk in at 11:40 and stand at the front counter for a couple of minutes. we noticed a female worker sitting at a table
talking about what she was going to wear this weekend with her friends. After a few minutes of waiting and asking loudly if they were open, we left . She didnt even look back at us once. its a shame that i will never get to taste thier food because five of us decided never to go back....
hope her weekend is worth losing buisness…
Agostino's is back!.
Agostino's is back on Ridge Road in Brooklyn. On a recent visit my husband and I had a very pleasant experience. The atmosphere is quiet and subdued. Our food was delicious. Portions were large. My
husband had the Chicken Parmesan which comes with a fresh house salad and a side of pasta. I had the mussles, which were delectable and tender. The best I've ever had.
Don't pass this treasure up now that it's back!…
