The Scene

Along with organic produce and speciality items for both meat- and non-meat-eating consumers, the store boasts a comfortable cafe and in-house library full of information on proper nutrition and local health expos. The cafe staff prepares very fruity smoothies made with power shots, natural energy stimulants such as bee pollen, ginseng and royal jelly. It's not unusual for a first-time shopper to walk out with a bag of fruits and veggies, a pack of TVP (textured vegetable protein), something made from hemp and a meat-free Sloppy Joe recipe.
