My nephew, who was deployed in Afghanistan, brought me back a lapis bracelet in July 2012. It was too big so I took it to Thurbers for adjustment in August 2012. They removed one bead and restrung onto a new cord and added a new clasp. After wearing it two or three times, the cord broke and beads went everywhere. You could buy better beading cord from Joanne Fabrics. I know Thurbers are not beaders but if they didn't think they could do a good job, they shouldn't have accepted it and charge $80 for the service. Never again will I patronize their store again.

so pleased. I needed/wanted something different than what I had seen. These guys took the time walk me through the whole process. I am so pleased with this ring! Even after 4 months I can not stop looking at it. You are in good hands here.

Excellent Quality. I have an aquamarine ring surrounded by diamonds that was purchased as a gift from Thurber's Jewelers.The quality of the ring is excellent and the customer service is personal,knowledgeable and friendly,as Ilearned when I took it in to be cleaned

Perfect Match. "My wife wanted a band to match her wedding band ( so she could wear her engagement ring in the middle). I was a little anxious because she is very picky. Very. Anyway we went in and sat down and they walked us through the whole process. Took there time and helped us know what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. The ring came out beautiful . A perfect match. My wife could'nt be happier and neither could I."

HAPPY Customer. It is worth it to drive a little extra distance to go to Thurbers Jewelers to buy jewelry because they go the extra distance to make sure that you are a happy customer. They custom make any type of jewelry for you and they do it well, so you end up with a piece that you will love and that is so well-made that it will last for years. They can also repair the beloved piece of jewelry or watch that you already own. Thurbers can be expensive, depending upon what you are purchasing, but considering that you are getting a high-quality, custom piece, it is definitely worth it.
