Located on the grounds of NASA Glenn, one of NASA's premier research facilities, NASA Glenn Visitor Center is a real treat for every kid (or grownup) who's ever looked up at the stars with wonder. Here you can see the Apollo Command Module used on Skylab 3, plus a full-scale replica of the Centaur rocket. You can countdown to a simulated launch in the Launch Control Center. One of Ohio's favorite sons, John Glenn, is well represented, from his first Mercury flight to his recent flight aboard the Space Shuttle.
