Unlike a lot of local Asian dining experiences, a walk in Arirang Gardens is a relentlessly authentic Korean experience: exotic sights (a performance-art sushi bar), exotic tastes (seaweed and bean paste), and a kind of barbecue technique that the grill-friendly suburb of Lyndhurst has never sampled before. The Korean chefs don't seem entirely happy unless they're chopping, tossing ingredients, or setting something ablaze. Major flavors can be found in the seaweed-rolled kim bob beef or the multiple vegetable side dishes that encourage order-swapping. Arirang Gardens is an experience unlike anything anywhere. Caution: A lot of the action takes place at your table, so watch those elbows.

Good Food & Service

As good as Thai food could be. The soups are good. We usually order food minus the oyster/fish sauce and the Panang curry which I always prefer was well done. The Thai Tea was not upto my expectation though. It was rather too watery and bland rather than being rich in flavor.

• Pros: good ambience, parking on the back
• Cons: too busy at times :-(
