After several year hiatus my wife and I stopped in. $3 cover for pretty good live music. A bargain. A beer. 3 bucks - not bad. People watching and atmosphere: priceless. Give it a try.

The Scene
Should your date be late, you'll have plenty to keep you occupied: almost every surface is plastered with memorabilia, and while jazz is the predominant form of expression, the decor takes a turn toward the eclectic. Home to avid regulars, the crowd is often tight, a mix of types and ages. This is one house where the music aficionado will feel at home.

The Draw
This small bar plays host to the big, bopping sound of live jazz at least four nights a week. When the drum kit ain't tappin' out a swing beat and the horns are quiet, the music goes on--the bartenders pull from a collection of 15,000 jazz records--and yes, they take requests.
