Well lets just say I LOVE KEVIN, he is my personal stylist, i have known kevin for a very long time. i mean a very long time, he is awesome at what he does, when i go in there and i say kevin i need something diffrent he gives me his idea and i go with it. i never ever had a doubt about what he will do with my hair. The shampoo is one of the best parts about it, and the people are so friendly, and so very up beat and positive. They always welcome you with a smile and ask you if you need anything. I love Sky salon and i will continue to go there! i was just there today and i loved it and i love my new hair style. Thanks Kevin and thank you to everyone at Sky Salon! Great Job!

I have known Kev for a number of years and he has great hands! He gave me the best "shampooing" ever! His cut was just as strong as his hands!! Damon and staff seem to be great people that make getting your hair done fun! Professional, enjoyable, SKY SALON!!!! Top of the line people, providing top of the line cuts!

i was a little nervous walking into sky for the first time. you know the feeling am i dressed ok are they going to be snooty? but luckily i was made to feel right @ home. a young assistant greta greeted me with a smile and offered me something to drink. the place is cool to look at , great colors, sweet music. tammy did my hair and made me feel confident that i could do it at home. she took her time explaining what she thought would work best for me. but also listened to what i had in mind. i didn't feel pressured into buying a ton of stuff i would probably never use. tammy made me feel attractive again!!!!!!! i am a stay at home mom who hasn't made very much time for myself lately. so thank you tammy and sky salon for making me feel at home and put together.

Pros: close to home, great timely service , good pricing

Cons: no traffic light when leaving

I drive an hour to go to sky salon. I think all the sylists there are extremely talented, and so incredibly friendly. I am never disappointed when I am done there. TJ is the one who color, cuts, and styles my hair, and its always gorgeous, he knows how to work with my hair which isnt very easy (its really fine and straight) he always does something trendy, new and fun! The color is always amazing, and stands out (just how i like it) I would recommend this salon to anyone that wants to feel and look gorgeous!! All of the stylists like I said are great,and I have referred a lot of my friends to this salon and they have always been totally impressed. My friends and I are in cosmetology school and we love going there.. their especially good with correcting hair as well... you know being in cosmetology experiementing your going to have some styles that need fixed and the stylists @ sky salon always pull through! Not to mention everyone is so friendly, and the shampoos.... are to die for!! :-) .... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SKY SALON!!!!! :-)

I've gotten 2 cuts from T*** so far in the past two years. My orthodonthist's receptionist recommended him to my mom, and I got an appointment. At the time, probably 2 years ago 2002 T*** was $30 a cut. It varies from stylist to stylist, and the top stylists charge accordingly (much more). They were very polite, offered a drink and took my coat, and the shampoo/scalp massage were excellent. I described to Todd what kind of a cut I wanted, and afterwards I was disappointed. It was just a simple trim and a few layers and it was not flattering. After the cut he put some mousse in my roots, which lifted them so the crown of my head looked almost inflated. It did not look good. The second time I went, a year later, I went to T*** again. His price per cut had now increased to $40 a cut. He did ask me what I did and didn't like about my last cut, but yet again I was underwhelmed for the cut that I got. My hair is quite long and is not a difficult texture, but I have gotten better and cheaper cuts ($6 special on certain days) at the Aveda beauty institute in Columbus, on the OSU campus. By a student. My friends who have also gotten their hair done at Sky say that the cuts are good (not great) and the prices are too expensive. They also say that they can get the same cut somewhere else for cheaper. I suppose if you wanted a very short, styled, radical cut with specific coloring sky would be great, but when it comes to the rest of us, who just want a great cut (and don't have short, feathered hair in 3 different colors), sky hasn't delivered. I don't have a personal agenda against sky either, as I said, I had 2 separate occasions where I was disappointed. LIke I said, Aveda institute on OSU campus delivers for only a fraction of the cost, don't risk being disappointed here. my review is genuine and I hope that those that work at sky don't write inflated reviews just to increase the ratings of this salon.

After spanning the globe for the best hair stylist - I finally found one at Sky. Everyone is so friendly and customer service is top quality. For once the stylist actually took the time to show and explain to me how he was styling my hair - so I could actually attempt to do it on my own at home. Walked out feeling like a million dollars.

Ok, girls, this guy Todd he knows what he is doing. My sister and mother use Todd to color their hair at Sky Salon. This guy knows what he is doing and if you are having a hard time deciding on a color, he will make suggestions, and actually I went with his and my hair turned out awesome. Every other salon I have tried before never got the color just right, and I always walked out disappointed. Todd is very knowledgeable of the products he uses there, as well as he is great on suggesting styling tips for your hair. This was the VERY first time I actually walked out of a salon HAPPY with the way the color turned out!! I will always go to Sky and ask for Todd to color my hair!! He works wonders let me tell ya!!! =)

Pros: EVERYTHING

Cons: A little pricey, but it's worth it!

my whole life ive been given hairstyles that made me look like a drone wannabe, a member of the always present blah in life. well about a year ago i started going to a young hairstylist named carly and i havent felt any symptoms of the blah disease since. sky salon is great place with a fun and inviting atmosphere but what it comes down to is the quality of the cut, and carly and the rest of the staff are obviously kept up on there education and styles abroad. carly takes her hairstyles to a level wear it fits you physically and fits whatever your sense of bieng is. you can complain about the price all you want what it comes down to though is when you look in the mirror do you feel content even excited about what you see..... i do.

I enjoy a nice two hour drive each way to get the best haircut and service I have ever found in a salon. Kimberly took my hair from long and stringy to short and sassy. A day does not pass without someone commenting on my modern hair style and my natural hair color (assisted by Kimberly and the salon's fabulous color)...even if I am late on getting a cut. One friend said it best, "you do not find stylists like yours very often, what a professional cut" and that is why I won't consider somewhere else. If someone has not commented on your hair in the last month, you need to make a change! Don't look any further and put your hair in trusted hands.

Pros: Highly trained and talented stylists, prompt, on time service

Cons: not in my city :(

I highly recommend Sky Salon! The tone is set by the owner, Damon, and is carried through by the entire salon staff. Damon and his stylists keep up with all the latest trends, but more importantly know what looks good on each client (sometimes it's NOT the latest trend). They excel in both color application and cut. While the energy is high inside the salon, it's also a soothing experience because of the way each client is focused on. Tammy gives the best head massages, and I highly recommend them for those who suffer from head-aches. No one leaves the salon looking anything but great! In fact, just yesterday I was stopped twice to ask who cut my hair! Damon and his staff do equally well with children as they do with customers in their 20's, 30's or beyond. They ensure every client's experience is nothing short of great.

Pros: Stylist experience, Atmosphere, Overall experience
