Health Hazard

let me tell you this place is gross, the servers don't wear gloves, they handle dirty dishes then serve your food, the place is always a mess, and the tables and floors are always sticky. The last time i was there I opened the lemon container to get lemons for my water, fruit flies flew everywhere. I also watched as a women pour the salad dressings in the containers, she kept licking her fingers and wasnt wearing gloves. i couldnt even eat my food i was completely disgusted. NEVER AGAIN!
Dirty with a side of poor service

I visited for the first time and I walked in to not be greeted by anyone. I heard a couple of the employees in the back messing around. It took about three to five minutes before anyone even came out to greet me. I was the only one in the place but the place was dirty. There were about five tables that we full of dirty dishes. The floor was trashed and the garbage can were overflowing with garbage. Not the sort of atmosphere that I want to eat in. I initially ordered my food to eat in the dining room but once I saw how dirty everything was I decided to take it to go.
After I ordered my food it took about ten minutes for someone to make my sandwich. Again, I was the only one there. One of the employees was talking on his phone while slowly making my food.
I will never ever return. I warn you if you decide to go have plenty of time and wear gloves....

This place is a great place for lunch with friends, picking up a pizza or salad to take home and excellent for teachers/school lunches. Love their food, creative sandwiches, salads, pizzas, great soups too! Its also a peaceful ambiance to seat and talk with friends in the summer
- Pros: Food, ambiance
- Cons: bathroom
Tomaydo-Tomahhdo - WOW!
by Qmar at Citysearch
I have over 15 years in the hotel/restaurant/hospitality industry and I can say that by far this is the best quick serve concept that I have ever encountered. Not only was the staff professional and friendly but the meal was impeccable. They were quick and efficient and to my understanding, just installed a brand new point of sale system! Wow! Can anyone tell me who these guys use? They really know what they are doing and the newbies that post on this board have no clue as to what they are talking about. Get a degree in hotel and restaurant management and then judge is my motto. Just because you make a great burrito at home doesn't mean that you can evaluate a restaurant.
- Pros: Atmosphere, menu and pricing
- Cons: No Beer or Wine
Much, much better than average

Whoa. To the reviewer who had such a bad experience with Tomaydo Tomahdo, I guess I'd just say you should give them another chance.
I travel to Cleveland for business, and I'm often in need of a quick lunch. Tomaydo is much, much better than anything I get in other midwestern cities. It's real food with real texture, real depth of flavor, real fresh ingredients. And I've never had trouble with the service.
Given my experience, I'd say that your represents was the exception, rather than the rule.
- Pros: Upmarket food quality at Panera prices
- Cons: No Tomaydo in my hometown
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
by calchif330 at Citysearch
I work at BOA in Beachwood OH and my co-workers and I have order from this place twice in less than a week and have had terrible service on 11/28 they had to come back to our workplace twice because the order was messed so bad then on today 12/01 we decided to order(stupid us) and the order was not only messed up but the employees were totally rude especially to person who took our order over the phone and then the guy that we talked to afterwards because we were so upset who claims he was "somewhat of a manager" was very unprofessional and told us that we all had attitudes and were irate(hello you messed up our food) when they tried to correct it we all were afraid to eat it in fear of what they may have done to it they were just that nasty, so we threw it away. BUT to top it all off my card was charged twice on the same day for the same food. I placed the order on my card and my coworkers gave me cash and this place charged me $42+ and then $52+ for the same food. They were getting a lot of business from BOA but not anymore; at least not from the night crew. We will NEVER order from Tomaydo Tomahhdo again!!!!!!!! I think the owners should really look into who they are hiring.
Wonderful sandwich/soups

Panera-type place. Delicious, well crafted sandwiches, good salads, and the soups drive me wild. Try the 1/2 sandwich soup/salad combo. I became an instant fan of this restaurant.
Great place!

Surprised that more people haven't posted here, this is a great place when you want a casual meal. You order at a counter and then sit to wait for it to be delivered. All the food I've had there was of really good quality, no "canned" feeling.
- Pros: quality, quick service, big variety
Upscale yet affordable and friendly, this immaculate eatery dishes out tasty pizzas, sandwiches and salads.

The Scene
Tucked into a corner building off busy Chagrin Boulevard, this ridiculously named Woodmere Village restaurant is always full of the aroma of fresh-baked pizzas. The brainchild of Cleveland dining guru Rose Carroll and Bay Area restauranteur Larry Moore, T.T. serves fresh meals in a bright, casual atmosphere.
The Food
Tomaydo Tomahhdo specializes in "build your own" pizzas on thin, medium or deep-dish crusts. For lighter fare, diners can choose from 10 creative salads, with eight homemade dressings. There are always three soup choices (try the fettuccine chicken noodle); facaccio- and ciabbata-bread sandwiches; and daily specials, such as lasagna bolognese, turkey chili and creamy four-cheese mac and cheese. The entire menu is also available for takeout and delivery.
Peel this tomaydo!

The food is so fresh, it's impossible not to want more. Salads are crunchy, with some great taste surprises, and the homemade dressings put bottled dressings to shame.
The "designer pizzas" are unusually creative, compared to other Cleveland-area pizza places, byt those who like traditional pies will like Tomaydo also, because all veggies are fresh, and meat toppings are first-rate.
- Pros: great value, easy parking, very clean
