Nothing great.

Even though named Color Nation is should be called Cut Nation. As the other review on the website - I had asked for a trim and got hacked. Also I have received color services with no positive results. I am a picky blonde and this salon was not able to satisfy. The customer service is great but you feel like you are walking into a high school clique.

• Pros: Staff will greet you
• Cons: Stylists need more training.

Keep thinking

I am one who continuously is unhappy with my hair. Simply put, I am very PICKY about my hair and don't understand why it is so hard to find a good hairstylist in Ohio!!!! Anyway, I was excited to try Color Nation because of the reviews I had read online. I was hoping to find "The One." I brought pictures with me to help aid the stylist in what type of haircut and highlight I was going for. I felt like I had done my homework and thought I had a good consultation. Sadly, I did not get the desired results I had hoped for from that stylist.

Atmosphere: Very friendly and relaxed

Front Desk: Very accommodating and professional

Product line: Of quality and reasonably priced

Training: My stylist would benefit from more training/experience but I did see quality work from a few of the stylists

Overall: My search for a stylist continues.

• Cons: Not all of the staff produce quality work

Best Hair Salon on the West Side of Cleveland...or Anywhere Else!!

Color Nation is the greatest hair salon?and definitely appropriately named! I went there for the first time no a busy Saturday morning. I was immediately greeted when I walked in and taken to the ?smock room? to put on a color smock. I came early to check the place out and was pleasantly surprised. I sat on the couch (red velvet couch!) and watched all the happy people walking around with foils on their head, preparing for a skincare service or getting their nails done. It was almost as if everyone knew each other in this salon - everyone was so friendly and talking! Right on time I was taken back to the ?color area? for my appointment. I soon became one of the many hanging out with foils on their head. During my process time I got to catch up on all the gossip magazine reading I didn?t have time for during the week. Before I knew it, I was getting shampooed. And believe me that was a whole experience in itself! I had the best scalp massage ever - I really could have just sat there all day and gotten my head massaged. Next I got just a little trim (trying to grow). Once the drying began, I started to see all the color that was put through my hair starting to appear. When I first walked in, I was a plain chocolate haired girl and I left with carmel/golden dimension highlights that suited my skin tone and my face perfectly. I love Color Nation and just can?t stop gushing about my experience.

Best Hair Salon & Spa EVER

Color Nation has the most talented stylists! They have always given me exactly what I've asked for...or made it even better. I would never trust anyone else to do my hair - especially the color! I look better then I ever have. Color Nation has a fun atmosphere and the staff is very accomodating. It's just the best place. Go there!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Went to Color Nation for a haircut, pedicure, and manicure. I am still paying the price for the haircut 2 months later. I was 9 months pregnant and had one simple request---I need to be able to pull my hair back. No such luck---the layers that were cut into my hair are still so short that they cannot be pulled back. It is very frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!! The manicure I received that day was horrible, there was more paint on my fingers than my nails. As for the pedicure I couldn't really see my toes but know that I was charged for a spa pedicure and that was not what I got. I will say that they were quick to resolve that situation because I had to go back the next day as part of a wedding party. This left me feeling like I could not complain about the services I had gotten. The next day seemed to be going better, the woman who did my hair was wonderful but then it came time for make-up. I waited and waited---I was finally taken after everyone in my party was completely done (including the bride). When I mentioned this I was pretty much told that is just the way things are. I thought "WOW" if you want to retain customers maybe you should reevaluate your attitude towards them. Needless to say I will not be returning there and would make a recommendation to you to try any of the other salons in that area. Although the prices at Color Nation are competitive with other salons in the area the services are not!!!
