Love this Bar!

There are not enough good things to say about this establishment!!! I have made some of my best memories at this bar, have met some of my best friends, and I even met my future husband at this bar! The bar staff is not only gorgeous but friendly. The owners are fun, yet professional, and sometimes do fire tricks...haha. The food is good bar food, the TV's are great, they always have the best games on, the prices are reasonable, and Leah makes the best Malibu and cran around! I have had birthday parties (real and pretend), graduation parties, I have laughed, cried, fallen in love, made a baby (***I DID NOT "MAKE" the baby at the Mars Bar, but she is a direct result of the Mars Bar influences!!!***), and pretty much just lived and loved life at this bar! Thank you to all the people at the Mars Bar (esp the patrons, who are the best around)!!! If you don't visit this bar and love it....there is something wrong with you!

" Where Everybody Knows Your Name"

Comfortable and cozy atmosphere, this bar is very welcoming from the decor as well as the friendly and attentive staff. Everytime I walk in the door, I feel as though I am visiting good old friends!! This place goes above and beyond to insure you have a wonderful time!! I always leave with a smile on my face!! Karoke on Wedsnesdays has a awesome selection and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser ever time!! If you are trying to find the best neighborhood bar in Lakewood, you will not have to look any further!! See you there!! :)

AWESOME BAR!!!!

This place is great!!! we had my friends bachlorette party there and the service, food ,and drinks were awesome!!! the owners even treated us all to a round! my friends and i are regulars now. they have free food on special game nights and many plasmas to watch! they spend a ton of money to fix the interior and it was well worth it! the bartenders are all cool (guys and girls) great service! it has a cool crowd, and great prices! i do not know who the one guy who wrote the bad review was talkng about, but both guys that work at mars wear armani most of the time!!! but, judging from a guy who reviews Tiffanys(and i am not talking fine jewelry), the word BUM should should be used when referring to yourself . LOSER!!! maybe next time you stop by the mars bar, have the guys do a strip show for you!! and maybe your NEXT review will be better. but then again, you wll something you have nothing of and get jealous!

nice bar!! great service, free food!!, free football games!!!! i am a regular at this place!!! cheap drinks great service, best bar in lakewood in my opinion!! cannot wait to go tonight!

Best Atmosphere and Lounge area!

I went in just last week, and checked this place out. it is great! great service, bartenders, and good people! I was able to be lucky enough to stop by during the OSU-Michigan Game, and luckily for me they gave everyone free food, and said they will have a great spread for the osu bowl game! cant wait to come back and visit!!!

The interior looks great, but don't judge a book by its cover. They spent a lot of time and money on the interior...looks very nice. However the bar tender, disguised as a bum, blatantly ignored me for a long time. So I walked to the nearest bar (across the street, of course, as this is Lakewood) and went to The Beer Engine It didn't set the world on fire, but at least they tried. I would give this zero stars instead of one if it weren't for the nicely remodeled interior. a nd by the way they don't sell Mars Bars candy anymore

At this chameleon of corner bars, one night you may find yourself surrounded by college students shouting to be heard over blaring rap-metal; on another, you may end up quietly discussing "The Simpsons" with an investment banker. The only things that don't change are the cheap drinks and the friendly bartenders. A fixture in Lakewood for decades, the bar still attracts generations of 20-something revelers. Small, it holds little more than the obligatory foosball table and dartboard, but the beer selection is larger than most neighborhood bars.
