Try samples of nonpareils, marzipan, sugar-free peppermint patties and caramels, molasses honeycomb or almond bark. Don't be surprised if you're invited to see the back room, where the delights are devised.

Chapel of Love
As guest favors on your special day, Sweet Designs' personalized candy boxes certainly beat those Jordan almonds dished out at most weddings and come in several varities. There's the two-piece truffle boxes ($2.75 each), chocolate bars with a thank-you inscription ($2.25), chocolate wedding bells ($1.25) and more. By the pound, regular chocolates run $12.95, truffles $18.95. The staff is happy to provide free consultations and estimates.

Into the Milky Way
The story goes that a Sweet Designs customer who works for NASA bought several boxes of chocolate for the crew on a Space Shuttle mission. One of the store's walls boasts the remains of the wrappers and a photo of the sweet-toothed astronaut team.
