TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES
by AFP
Very unprofessional organization. Only care about $$$, not their clients. Would not recommend this place to anyone. They treat people like crap and don't ever mistakenly leave something there as you'll never get it back!
- Cons: Could care less about their clients
Best massage in Lakewood!
by sharon_epstein
I recommend Lakewood Massotherapy. I have been seeing the therapist John there for several years for Deep Tissue work and he is the very best. The prices for an hour massage are very reasonable, the staff is always charming, the facility is immaculate. If you have a note from your doctor recommending medical massage for pain management or any other reason you can have the sales tax on services waived. Treat yourself or give a gift certificate so someone you know who deserves an our of bliss:-)
- Pros: great service and skilled therapists
- Cons: street parking only can be a drag
Very affordable and professional

I have been to Lakewood Massotherapy various times in the past few years. I have consistently gotten great massages. It is not a spa, but for the purpose of relaxing tight musles, it's the best place I have found in the area and it's only about $60 for an hour.

Half-hour, one hour and hour and a half massages designed to soothe and relax every muscle in the body is the focal point for this therapeutic center. With a staff of over 18 therapists/ masseuses, Massotherapy offers a series of services: deep tissue, trigger point, reiki, ortho-bionomy, sports massage, and acupressure to name a few. The staff is centered on adjusting to your needs and will call therapists to change their schedule for you. In light of the good you will be doing to rewire the circuits of your brain after your W-2 forms, massaging out another $50 seems like a fair trade off. Straight-to-the-point massaging with no foreplay, basically. Once you are introduced to your therapist and led through the doors to the massaging area where a series of sectioned off rooms have been set up, there is virtually no talking. Also, you will be matched up with the right therapist if you discuss ahead of time with the receptionist exactly what it is you are looking for in massaging experience. Tip Sheet Masso Gifts A weekly massage is a benefical commitment to taking care of your health, and Massotherapy makes it easy and addicting to keep coming by offering gift coupons and redeemable coupons for $5 off your next massage. Make sure your request your coupon after your massage -- with a staff of nearly twenty, the special treatment varies.
