Good Value for Downtown

Arrived late and paid the awful $20 for overnight parking, since there was no available parking on the street. Service was fine, at check-in and otherwise. The room was comfortable and clean. As I'm a ByRequest member, there were drinks and a snack waiting in the room when we arrived (which was really cool!) Great view of the lake from our room, and no problems with noise on our floor. Overall good experience, good rates for downtown.
- Pros: comfortable, clean, inexpensive rate, near downtown
- Cons: parking
Hit the Theater District for Cal-Italian meals and dining in the semi-round.

In Short
You'd expect a theater district eatery to favor the dramatic, and this airy dining room doesn't disappoint; expect lots of cherry wood and sweeping curves in a space that marries cozy corners and great street views. California-Italian fusion food leads a focused menu that pays homage to its Midwestern roots with Great Lakes walleye and pumpkin risotto. Popular with business travelers and pre-theater goers, as well as guests and guest stars who mingle over breakfast.
Just Great!

Everything was just fine....Joined ByRequest and was upgraded to a wonderful corner king room with a huge luxurious bed with great pillows, microwave and fridge. Staff was very nice, pool was fine. Resturant was a little pricey, but there are food places all around. We parked on the street so we paid no parking fees. I would go back in a second!
- Pros: everything
Visited the bar...
by clevelandgrrl at Citysearch
...and was not impressed. Nice exterior, nice lobby and have heard lots of nice things about this place but the bar -- hm. My drink was made poorly, served warm and in a dirty glass (lipstick on the rim). The bartender was courteous so it seemed weird that everything else was off. Wouldn't make a point of stopping in there again.
- Cons: Inconsistent
