The place to go for middle-eastern
by sxp16
This is not the franchise "Aladdin's Eatery" but a bakery of the same name that has been in Cleveland for much longer.
Their pizzas on pita breads, grape leaves, and falafels (made fresh) are great. A small market place is nice for some additional things for home.
Not a place to sit and eat - but rather get the food and go.
The prices have probably not changed for at least 20 years.
- Pros: Cheap, Good, Food
- Cons: Lines
This Middle Eastern marketplace offers a healthy alternative to downtown's hot dogs.

The Scene
What began as a pita bakery has turned into a Middle Eastern dining and shopping experience. Browse the jam-packed shelves or sit down at one of the few tables to gossip with the regulars.
The Food
There's always a line of downtown diners patiently waiting for falafel, spinach pies and gyro wraps from the deli. The reason? The market offers a glimpse into another world, filled with roasted watermelon and squash seeds, Armenian string cheese, raisin vinegar, garlic chips, apricot rolls, and plenty of fresh pita bread, made in the on-premises bakery. (The pita made here is shipped to stores in five states.) There's also an olive bar; feta cheese is showcased next to the baked goods and comes in four varieties: Greek, Bulgarian, goat and French.
