bring your wallet! or maybe two of them. even soup is expensive here, even in the Bar! But I've been on dates here, it's really nice and the staff is superb, definately get seafood since it's their specialty! I like that it's close to my house and you can shop right in the area, so it's a nice evening of food and shopping. Recommended!
- Pros: Everything is delicious! and a great ambience.
- Cons: expensive.
This funny-named fish tank is dead serious when it comes to sole food.

The Scene
Even if you've spent your dining life avoiding salmon, this kitchen will change your mindset. Baked or blackened, the meaty fish might contain a soy or ginger flavor boost. Tucked into a vintage building across from a flamingo-pink residential hotel, Dave's serves crab cakes (large but pricey) and ahi tuna sashimi (ginger-pickled and very hot) in a brass- and booth-rich environment. Wine suggestions follow every course, and creme brulee follows everything else.
Dave's Annual Taste of New Orleans
Salmon Dave's likes to add special "N'awlins Feasts" to its menu when Mardi Gras creeps around, including jambalaya, stuffed redfish, shrimp creole, grilled "Bourbon Street" sirloin and dessert. The meal (also offered a la carte) is normally offered for around $30, but on Sundays it's cheaper and accompanied by live jazz.

No complaints about this better restaurant, except for the pricing on the wine list. It needs to be toned down.
- Pros: Good Selection, Nice Wine List
- Cons: Overpriced Wine List
