I love Details! This is the place to go get your hair done on the westside! I've been to many of the girls and love them all! The salon is beautiful and the girls are so nice! Beth is awesome for getting your color done! She made me a blonde and a brunette and I loved both of them, beth is an expert at coloring! Jessica and Jesse are great especially for cuts! Also the salon has wine now and its the pefect touch for the end to a long days work just relaxing and getting your hair done and drinking! I also had a facial with Christine and I have told everyone about how great it was and she is the only one I would trust with my skin! Her bikini waxes are amazing too! I have had a lot of the services done at Details and have been blown away by all of them! I have referred all my friends to this salon and will continue!

Pros: Skilled employees, beth is my god!, open on sundays!

I have been a client of details for about 2 years now and have enjoyed my experience with the service. I have hopped around some bit between stylists at details, however i must say it is refreshing to see such a variety of people in one place. Since I have not "stuck" with one girl, I have gotten to know a little bit about almost everyone working there, and besides their personalities, each of their styles from their clothes to their hair to the way they cut is individualistically unique. If you start out with one girl and find she's not for you, don't be afraid to go to another, they don't act competitive and infact are understanding and respectful that possibly their style just isn't right for you. It is difficult to find the kind of service you receive at details anywhere else, including the atmosphere and the people.

I went to Details yesterday to have my short hair cut into a much shorter cut. I had been growing it out to try something new, decided I'm just not a long hair person so decided to go back to a really short cut. Chelsea was my stylist. She cut my hair twice during the growing out phase and the cuts were fine, so I assumed she could do the super short cut for me. My former stylist moved to Columbus by the way. I had a picture of a style I liked, she said she could do it, and started cutting. The back was fine and I felt good durng the cut, but when she cut into the top, she did not even come close to the picture I brought in. I have been getting short cuts for my entire adult life and I have never had such a bad cut. The top is butched off, there is nottexture. I complained and she just kept trying to texturize it and making it worse. I ran to the restroom after and asked the waxing girl to get someone, another stylist came up. She attempted to fix it some, but I got the feeling she wasn't comfortable with short hair either and didn't know how to create any volume in the crown either. Now I have flat, helmet head hair that is going to take two or three months to get it long enough for me to go somewhere else and get it fixed. I did appreciate them comping the cut, but I feel that anyone interested in a short hair cut should reconsider going to Details. I will never return!

I want everyone to know that if you go to Details Salon you will look Fabulous! The place is small, yet comfy, and not stuffy at all. I saw a few stylists there before I decided to stick with Jesse, that girl is a natural, she can do anything. I totaly recomend going to see her. There's also Jessica who I saw and did'nt really care for her Boring uptight attitude, or the botchy marks in my highlights, so make sure you speak clear on who you're asking for. (Oh and Jesse is Senior Sylist worth every penny)

Pros: yummy french vanillia creamer in the coffee, pretty spa

Cons: sometimes to much air conditioning (bring socks)

I have been going to Christine at Details Salon for the past 2 years. I am VERY picky when it comes to my eyebrows so when I moved to the west side I was nervous about finding someone. My friend told me about Details and found it was an Aveda salon. I decided to go and booked Christine for my eyebrow wax. Let me tell you, she rocks! They look so awesome and she NEVER waxes them too thin. I have had aesthetician's before wax them thinner every time I went back. I now live in Avon, but I still drive to go back to her. She also does facials, and let me tell you its the best 60 minute facial you can imagine!!

Pros: Aveda products

Cons: Parking, but you can ALWAYS find parking right behind the salon at the school.

I used to be a devote Details customer. Every 10 weeks as scheduled I was in... I LOVED my stylist, KYLIE. Unfortunately, Kylie moved to Arizona and while I felt horrified going to someone else I was assured (by her) that everyone there was utterly fantastic. I tried Jesse shortly after she left and my hair looked horrible. Very punk. While cute, is totally NOT my style. I decided to give it another try and go to their Senior Stylist, Jessica. What a difference! Jessica actually asked me where I got my hair cut last because it was SO uneven and she looked at me in disbelief when I told her Jesse from the same salon had cut it. I now go to Jessica every 3 mo. or so and my hair has never looked better.

Pros: Skilled Stylists; Aveda Products; Evening & Weekend Hours

Cons: Parking; Price

I have been going to Details on and off for years. I recently went in again and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great. They are now under new ownership and boy does it show! The spa was completely remodeled and the salon floor is apparently next. It was just so nice. As always the amazing scalp massage is to die for. Everyone there is so friendly and so bubbly, they really make you feel comfortable! I highly recommend going there. Even if you may have had a bad experience definately try again the changes they have made make it totally worth it!!

I have been going to Jessica Calvin for 2 years at Details Salon. She exudes professionalism, perfection, and her work is outstanding each and every time. For those that are concerned with price, well I am sorry because her cuts are $40 and I feel that this price is an understatement for the work that she so precisely executes each and every time. Not to mention, the prices for color are extremely comparable to any other high end salon in the area, the difference with her is that you will get perfectly placed color. So to sum it up, you get what you pay for and Jessica is an unbeatable example of that with her outstanding abilities in hairstyling. So please ask for her, I have sent an entire group of us from family to people I have grown up with to her and she laughs every time we send another because there have been so many that she feels she knows all of us now and who could possibly be next...

Pros: Aveda products, now serves wine, and of course Jessica's precision

I have been going to Details for several years and have been through many stylists there. The ones I really like end up leaving (Nesreen, Kylie). My last visit 6 months ago I left looking a chop job. The stylist did not listen to what I wanted and gave me her "signature" hair cut. I swore I would not go back but decided to give them another try with another stylist who was a little higher priced than I normally like to pay. In a nutshell, the next day my co-worker asks, "Did you cut your bangs again?" Out of sheer embarrassment that I would even waste $40 to look like I do right now, I told her "yes." Back to growing out another bad cut. In addition, I don't like the new approach the stylists take to sell you every product they use on your hair.

Pros: Nice scalp massage

Cons: Sales pitch for their products

I have been to Details a total of 3 times. My first expirience was amazing. My hair looked phenomenal! My hair is really blonde, white blonde. If you want the white blonde look, I woudlnt reccomend going here to get it done. I went back for just 2 inches of regrowth, and my hair was yellow!! I went back for a correction and now my hair is gray! They are very pricey too! I paid a lot of money to have gray hair! Very unsatisfied. Im afraid to say I will never be back.

Cons: over priced, didnt get my color right at all
