We have been bringing our dog "Ginger" to West Park Animal Hospital for over 12 years. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Borys is great. He has always taken the time to talk to me and let me know how she was doing. I have a very busy schedule and they have always worked around me to make sure that they get Ginger in that same day. I am always confident that she is in capable hands with everyone on their staff.

Between FOUR dogs, TWO cats and THREE horses, I have met a lot of different kinds of vets, the "emegency hours" (mostly women) have got to be the most inecpierienced I have ever met in my life! On two different ocasions in the ER different women have misdiagnosed my dogs. Do they have online degrees for vets cause I think that is where these people went!! The front desk people might possible have the worst manors and people skills I might add! My dog who is not scared of anyone or anythings was muzzeled, held down, peed all over herself!!
Pros: NOT A SINGLE ONE
Cons: JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING FROM THE SECOND I WALKED IN THE DOOR

I will never refer anyone to this animal hospital. One of the vets treated me horribly over the phone. He ended the conversation by asking me what my degree was in and how smart I was and then hung up on me! A little off topic from discussing dogs, don't you think? Who is he to judge and try to de-grade a pet owner? The website says they have a professional and courteous staff, but that is definitely not what I experienced with this vet. The office manager was very polite but she's unfortunately not the one treating our animals at this hospital.
Cons: Vet was not respectful

I just wanted to say my older cat was saved by west park animal hospital.I went in through emergency with dr.AMY.She was just so darn sweet and caring. Then was treated the next day by Dr. Boros. He couldn't have been more compassionate and informative. My cat remained hospitalized for a few days then released back home.He recooperated wonderfully.I see that there is some bad reviews which not everyone is always going to be satisfied but sorry to see that the treatment they got was not what was expected.I will use them and recommend to others.

I take my two kitties to this hospital and have seen almost every doctor. They are the best at what they do--not only are they super nice to me and my kitties--but they also call you with updates--which I love. I highly recommend this vet hospital--I have been to other ones before and they cant compare!!!
Pros: Staff-All the doctors--Very clean

i've just started going to west park over the last year and a half, as i happily discovered, THEY HAVE AVIAN VETS THERE!!! [ we love dr. lindstrom, but he's pretty far away.] dr. kerry was sweet and patient with both birds that i've had in to see her, and i've just made an appointment for the new baby blue and gold, too. the receptionist , julie, is an absolute sweetheart, every vet's office should have someone exactly like her to be their 'first impression'. the one time that i took one of my dogs there for an emergency, they took excellent care of him, and he actually went to trot back into the room with the vet when we were leaving! if that doesn't say a lot about the level of care they give, i don't know what does! the facilities are gorgeous, too, by the way, and so far the office visits don't seem to bee too dangerously priced.
Cons: the only one i can think of is that they're not in my back yard!

We were seeing another vet from Strongsville who told us they think my dog had terminal cancer and they ran some work up and it came back inconclusive. We kept taking them back to the same vet again and again and they kept running expensive tests for three weeks and my dog got sicker and sicker, they would not give me medicine because they said the tests were inconclusive. My dog was very sick one night and we took him to see Doctor Amy and just by looking at him she told us what he had and ran a single work up on him and it diagnosed the dog had lymphoma. She sat down with us and discussed the options and because of the age and the advance stage of the lymphoma we choose to keep the dog comfortable as long as we could, and when he stopped eating I brought him back to Doctor Amy and she helped me put Baxter to sleep for the final time. She followed up with a caring card and the whole staff was wonderful. I have been going to West Park for 2 years now with Baxter’s brother who has arthritis and are seeing Doctor Boris. They do not pressure you on buying expensive medicine and give you all the options you need to make a good decisions on your pets health.
Pros: Great staff
