Non authentic Mex food. Don't go!

by CSMobileUser

There isn't a single Mexican or Latino person working in the whole restaruant. Food was bland. I would rather go to taco bell. There salsa is runny and tastes cheap. I will never go to mad cactus again nor will I reccommend it to anyone. Oh yeah, thier large pitcher margarita is $25! To expensive in my opinion.

Great Tex-Mex food

Mad Cactus is a casual and laid back place. The service can be spotty at times, depending upon how busy they are - but this place never fails to please. I have taken friends and family here on several occasions and all have wanted to go back. The chips and salsa are a great start and there's a decent sized menu to sift through. The enchiladas and burritos are great - ask for them chipolte style - and my absolute favorite are the fish tacos!!!

I travel miles to get to The Mad Cactus! Service is always friendly and casual, my favorite is the chicken fajitas ---- yummy --- the best in town. Great music, awesome patio and oh, so convienent to meet groups from all over. Try it you won't regret it!

This place puts tex-mex food to shame! Years ago the food was excellent, then one day they decided to get cheap! Watered down processed greasy cheese dip and so much MSG and salt in the food, you can't drink enough water the next day to quench your thirst! Their barbecue ribs are slimy fat on the bone with "spiced" ketchup. Don't embarass yourself by going there with out-of-town friends!

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: MSG Food, Greasy Ribs
