Food came in very large portions and the drinks packed a punch..they make everything from scratch, everything..and its family owned for something like 60 years..all the other local mexican restaurants are pretty much cafeteria food, this was the best ive had in cleveland
- Pros: Everything is made from scratch..
- Cons: They close at 10 oclock
Nasty

If you want good atmosphere with great food and service, try Abuelos at richmond and Harvard. Don't waste your time and money at La Fiesta.
- Pros: Atmosphere is nice.
- Cons: The food is nearly as bad as the service.
Not what I hoped for...

After reading the reviews here and elsewhere, we hoped for a terrific, authentic Mexican feast. I found the food to be overpriced and not of terrific quality. My soup, at $5 a bowl, contained very little meat and not a lot of flavor. Our meals were not much better in either department. I think there is much better Mexican food to be found in the burbs.
Athentic & Flavorful

If you like your mexican food authentic, La Fiesta is a must try. Jimmy mixes up the best margarita in town, and the complimentary chips and salsa are addictive. Save room for the food, which can be ordered a la carte or in combination platters. Highly recommended are the Ceviche appetizer, the black bean or aztec soup, the echiladas with your choice of chicken, shredded or ground beef covered in green or red sauce and the sizzling fajitas. A great place to take a date, decorated in true mexican style, with cozy semi private tables and booths.
- Pros: Authentic, Flavorful, Romantic
The pinata party's on, and believe it or not, it's right next door to Richmond Mall.

The Scene
During the "I Like Ike" years, Antonia Valle spread the word of Mexican cooking throughout Cleveland, then a strictly meat-and-'taters town. Her business--now a Wilson Mills Road fixture--has been dishing homemade plates of hot and spicy specialties for half a century, and the tile floors and peach-colored walls wear it well. There's a convivial machismo to the proceedings and plenty of food, most of which will treat your tastebuds like a pinata.
The Menu
The Valle family versions of pepper-and-prune-stuffed pork loin and chicken breast in mole sauce are classics, as is their incredible guacamole. Try a pitcher of fresh-squeezed lemonade to quench that chipotle fire. If you want more than your tongue buzzing, several Mexican beers are served as cold as a winter storm, and the margaritas might be the strongest in town.
Crowd Control
Quick seating for parties of two to 20 is no problem, so drop by for a mini-vacation, no passport required.
